Good mention the Giants won the Super Bowl next year. Good underrated "revenge game" it was early in the 2011 season the following year in week 3 and Victor Cruz became a star IN Philly. Keep the regular season win in 2010, Philly. I'll take what happened the next year every single time.

The Giants rookie punter Matt Dodge had been making short line drive punts just like this one all season that were being returned for big gains. Matt Dodge was told to kick it out of bounds. Because of the loss, the Giants missed the playoffs at 10-6, losing a strength of victory tiebreaker (I believe this is the deepest tiebreaker that has ever had to be used---the fourth). Had the Giants won this game, they win the division at 11-5. The Packers would still make the playoffs, but then they would have played the Giants.

I was at that Packers-Eagles wildcard game and the Eagles were closer to winning than people remember. They lost by 5 in a game where their (6x Pro Bowl) kicker, David Akers, missed two field goals. That 2010 season was wild. And had they won the Super Bowl that year, the Eagles would have won their first Super Bowl in Jerry Jones' brand new art museum.

At first I thought he was just showboating when he ran parallel to the goal line from OB to OB, but when I saw him look back, I presume who was checking the clock to make sure it had run out.

I have virtually no attachment to any team in the NFC East, but out of all the regular season games I've ever seen, this is still the most memorable I've ever watched. This was only the second year I was really truly into football too, so that has something to do with it. This is the game that personally sealed the deal and made me a football fan for life.

March 8th, 2017 - Camp Nou Stadium in Barcelona - UEFA Champions League Round of 16 - Barcelona vs PSG - Barcelona down 4 to 0 after the first leg but win 6 to 1 in the 2nd leg to win 6-5 on aggregate - Sergi Roberto (who came on as a substitute) scores the winner 2.) Australia qualifies for 2006 FIFA World Cup a.) November 16, 2005 - Sydney (Australia) - Australia vs Uruguay - penalty shootout to decide if AUS or URU goes to the FIFA World Cup - John Aloisi scores the winning penalty kick for Australia - AUS after coming so close so many times qualifies for first World Cup in 32 years Let me know if you have any questions or concerns SECRET BASE

14:07 - I was hoping throughout the whole video that you would have the Merrill Reese / Mike Quick audio. It’s so much better. And Mike Quick was the one who coined the term “Miracle at the New Meadowlands” after a producer scribbled it on a paper and handed it Mike to read.

As an Eagle fan I remember being at a party with this game surround by Giant fans. When the Eagles went down everyone trashed me and kept it piling on. As I watched the Eagles slowing come back I sat their quietly as I watched all the giants fans become less confident and grow more concerned. As the last play went down you could hear the shouts of “No! What are you you doing? Stop Him!” And as Jackson crossed the goal line with triple zeros on the clock the room was dead silent as I let out an evil diabolical laugh that haunted friends and family for years to come. One of my favorite games ever.

As a Packers fan, I was cheering hard for the Eagles that day...because of the Wildcard situation, the Packers needed to win out AND have the Eagles beat the Giants that day. After the awful start to that game I had given up hope but the comeback happened and this beautiful moment. The Packers snuck into the playoffs that season as the 6th seed and ironically beat the Eagles in Wildcard game on their way to a Super Bowl victory. It's crazy how things happen sometimes.
