You may want to check out what we amateur astronomers do with cooled camera sensors, albeit the computer needs to be there. I have 20fps 3008x3008 pixels at 14 bits, with the IMX 533 sensor, and the framerate goes up if the number of pixels goes down, just to give you a hint. That's half way between 2K and 4K. The most limiting factor I have is the storage space and storage speed, nvme ssds are a minimum, and terabytes of it.

I have heard of this actually! Interesting

I mean, we are at a point where most cameras are so good that most people will never be held back by them. Heck, I shoot a micro four thirds camera from 2016 and it doesn't hinder me in realising my creative visions. There is a rather small group of professionals in the most demanding genres that actually benefit from the new features that are presented currently, so it's not really licrative to go down that route quicker than necessary.

DJI will hopefully shake up the marked with a mirrorless camera if you believe the rumors

We need a shake up, fingers crossed!

You look at things so simplistically. Do you realise why the features are gimped beyond them "slowly leaking it out"? You ask for firmware updates but in the same video you don't want to update your camera because you don't want to put in the effort. You are just a complainer.

Thanks for your comment. I'm just creating discourse on the interesting industry :)
