Ong. And I have a personal story of this, when I was 13, depressed, and anorexic. I started hanging out with a 15 yr old boy and his friends. He noticed my sh and eating issues, and made me feel loved and helped me eat and clean my wrists. After a few months he sa’d me at school in an all gender bathroom. And the next day I came to school and he had told his buddies that I led him on and f*cked him in the bathroom, showing it off. I was called a sl*t and wh*re by his grade. It happened again and so I told the councilor, who asked if we had done something “I regret” and proceeded to set up an assembly for the two grades, which made his rlly mad. And he told me “I am lucky to have him” bc he loves me for more than my body and no one els will. (And I’m not even super pretty, I’m not ugly would never get attention from boys or for my looks) and it happened one more time with the help of his best friend who said his girlfriend wasn’t putting out enough. One would hold me down for the other, amd one of the things I remember each time he would dig his hands into the scars on my wrist and thigh. and even after almost 3 yrs it lives in everything i do.For a long time I wasn’t able to feel the same around my own farther, would have flash backs during jujitsu, and my sh got much worse. My heart goes out to all victims, it does get better.

Parents! Educate your sons to not be, or tolerate rapists! To defend a victim, to tell friends "this isn't ok!" instead of defending them! Aaaaarggg!

That rampant misogyny and protection for the predators is SICKENING and there are so many cases out if SK just like this. It’s so scary they are able to walk free among civilians and to tell the victim she needs consent to get more information on her abusers but her abusers don’t need consent from her is crazy 😢😢😢😢

This story is soo humiliating and disgusting, no matter what these girl afters years are still struggling with the trauma while these criminals are still free enjoying their lives and having kids getting married, it disgusted me how the police were blaming literally a kid for something like that while she was literally manipulated it's crazy , the justice system in korea need to be studied cuz they has no justice in this country , the only thing they do is make women feel like they are glass dolls that deserves to be broken but doesn't have the right to be fixed 😢 i pray for every woman in korea honestly i hope they all are safe and to be safe and take care of themselves to never be in a situation where they have to be humiliated and get put through this injustice and feel liek tehy are less important or anything like that

This is so heartbreaking and awful! The justice system and laws in South Korea are almost always in favor of men, no matter if the crime and violence are against women and children. 😓

Shame on those parents, the perpetrators parents know their kids did wrong. Very wrong but instead of letting their sons take accountability, they traumatize the victim and her family more. Shame on them. Horrible parents and horrible people.

Asking. In sk, isn't there payment for child support? Cause how can an addict parent, especially a man get custody with two daughters being part of that family. More and more I see it's true, evil do plan for the future. The powers be knew exactly what they were and are doing. This child was set up to fall in the cracks they created. That why they align with not giving out justice. What a place. I hope the rest of this year and the rest to come, sk women and the men continue to demand justice till it is received ( I believe in the red queen style).
@kbryism2 ай бұрын
Historically fathers have gotten custody of their children in SK when a couple divorces. In the past a lot of women were stay at home wives without their own income, and the court system (and male judges) will favor the parent with the highest income, which is typically the father. The family structure is also more commonly that of having the fathers mom (kids grandma) live with the family and being able to take care of the child if the mom leaves. Divorce is highly stigmatized and a lot of the times the mother will only end up leaving because the father is violent or won’t agree to a mutually agreed upon divorce. If both parties don’t agree to the divorce the court can only allow it if there can be an ”at fault” party to blame. For example, a parent cheats or deserts the child. This ”desertion” clause is probably used by abusive fathers whos spouse has left them, and then they get custody cause the mother is at fault for basically abandoning their child (which is not usually true, the mom probably got abused and had to leave and does not have the means to take their children with them). Then grandma ends up taking care of the kid while dad has single custody. If the divorce isn’t mutually agreed upon the court won’t give joint custody. So basically, majority male judges and a patriarchal family structure that relies heavily on paternal family lineage means the mom leaves and the child stays with the fathers family. I think it is changing to some degree but when this case took place the norm certainly was still that the dad got custody.

Bro no, I highly doubt that bcs even if so why would she insult Hannah?? That doesn't make any sense at all, if they were forcing her to do that, then when she insulted her it probably would've been accompanied by some tears or a shaky voice but Steph mentioned nothing about that, and nothing had come up abt that.
