I'm so used to seeing Jon yelling at people on bar rescue. Wouldn't never have thought he even was inro punk rock or knew the misfits. Graves is the best thing that has happened to them since 1983 with Danzig. I love the graves era. I wished I got to see them. Only saw the Jerry misfits but watch recorded M.G. misfits concerts all the time since 2000. Amazing voice Michale has. Great interview! I can't believe he worked at IHOP after misfits. I think he's holding back what really was going on to drive him away. He said he was a yes man.

What a thoughtful, engaging interview by Jon Taffer. He’s really good at this! And I love Graves-era Misfits. I know he gets a lot of flack for the whole “conservative punk” thing but here, he seems like a pretty chill, grounded guy.

Damn shame. The first Glenn Danzig reunion show in Vegas was a complete money grab. $250 for the cheap seats and it sucked. I've seen many many Misfits tribute/cover bands who played much better. An American Psycho/Famous Monsters reunion would rake in the same amount of cash as Glenn reunion, but the crowd would go home with a fond memory of an absolute kickass performance and probably an autograph or two. Nobody can say the same Glenn.

"I didn't know anything about lawyers or publishing"... there is a Jerry Only interview from 1997 with Eric Blair where he says, "I can deal with somebody who's got a big name, and a big ego, and a whole bunch of lawyers... or I can go get somebody who's really young, who just really wants it bad." I don't know the full story, but Graves was 19 when Jerry started working with him. Feels predatory (in a business sense).

Don't know much of what Michael has done since leaving the band, nor have I seen him live, but I (still) love his era of the band!.. After Doyle, Chud and Mike quit, I could no longer support the band and says a lot in regard to "Mr Onlys" character when your entire band, even your brother walk out on you!..
