Damn right bro this is why a band live or demo is way better, fans like us love that original uncut demo session, the actual radio ready version is so much different and I do love all versions but there's jus something jus chilled out and raw about a demo cos the first time everyone heard it in the studio and accepted it as album track was this very tune and that's where scream and part of the fiend club fan George a romero lore comes from because of this very demo 🤘rock on bro listen to that real shit everyday

I've always wished the song had kept more of it's "80s-ness" in the final mix. ....but, alas....it did not. A missed opportunity here, I've always felt. I'm not saying the final version of Scream sucks. In fact, I quite like it. It just isn't the same song the demo started life as. Small tweaks lead to the song completely changing. TOTALLY different "vibe" from the demo version. Way, way more "post-punk/80s" feelin' than the final rendition. I prefer it this way. Always have...
