New mode ideas. Futebol: in the practice arena is that wall where you can try throwing the cube through different holes. That got me thinking how fun it would be to have a football style game mode. - Two teams battling over one cube, trying to snag it and throw it into one of the holes on the other team’s wall to score points. - I’m thinking 6v6: GK Heavy, Two Medium midfielders, 3 light attackers. - shorter respawn timer so kills grant an advantage but not a guaranteed goal, squad wipe would be a guaranteed goal though. So, maybe no respawn timer so the focus is always on out playing the other team and not just going for squad wipes. Idk. - It could be done by using smaller sections of the maps or just make one custom small map for that and maybe a free for all melee only tag mode. Other ideas: 1. Free for all tag/monkey in the middle 2. Melee only mode 3. Hide and seek: with destructible environments and cloak grenades this would be a fun mode.

Sometimes there is a pixel attack or an alien invasion. You could be creative there too... like infinite ammo or no loading time for gadgets etc.

Bro thats so true where tf is sysHorizon, i never even noticed and i love that map. The fact they have limited the map pool when there is only 6 maps in the game is a strange choice.

Great video, more game modes and maps are definitely the missing piece, when you look at CoD with Cutthroat, Team Deathmatch, Domination, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, Free-For-All, Hardpoint, Control, Ground War, Gun Game, One In The Chamber, Shipment/Nuketown 24/7, Prop Hunt to name a few. The Finals needs to offer as many options as possible to draw in a bigger audience

I… heavily disagree. Embark and The Finals are not Activision/Blizzard and COD, (obviously). But I think it’s a point worth restating because COD didn’t just show up on the market as the behemoth it is today. They had the backing, both financially and from a community, that allowed them to iterate on their formula annually for YEARS. The Finals is iterating rapidly, while preserving good working conditions for their employees, while maintaining consistent communication with their community. Maybe they don’t have the roster that COD has. But I grew up on COD and I’ve NEVER seen them put out the consistent quality that Embark has. and while I don’t know where they will end up, I do know that I have way more trust in sticking with them for the long haul than I ever did with Activision/Blizzard

Modes I would like to see: 1. TDM like mode 2. Sniper only with one shot kill 3. Demolition mode: the first team to reach specific demolition score wins. 4. Capture the zone 5. Base hold: where one team tries to defend a specific area (the other team tries to get in/destroying it) 6. Cash out solos

Multiple sources that I could find verifiable say that company wide there are just under 290-300 people staffed at Embark Studios currently. There could be less working on The Finals as they have multiple games in production currently.

At first, i didnt really enjoy this game. Gunplay felt good, but ive always found battle royale disinteresting with multiple teams in an ffa, creating common 3rd party you will need to account for. This has never felt like an addition to strategy that i feel accomplished for, during a win. So i enjoy other games usually. I really got tired of overwatch and val and came back to try power shift, and im in love. 2 teams, one objective, fight. Hardly any funny business with being surprised, outside of if the classes try to emphasize that like active camo in light. I just love it. I wish it was the main game mode, or that theyd push for 2 team 1 objective respawn in whatever flavor they like. Outside of loving power shift i aim train a lot unsure of what shooter i wanna play really, enjoying aim progress tho with different mice and stuff. Hit t500 in ow 2 roles and diamond 3 in val

The balance is not in a good place. Heavy gunplay feels awful, medium guns are underpowered, heal beam is still too oppressive, and light survivability is too low.
