This is a statewide gospel mass choir in the state of Mississippi with no particular church affiliation. How much "diversity" are you REALLY expecting here??? Besides, to my understanding you have to audition to be a part of this group, and you can't pass blame on them for singers from other ethnic groups not showing interest to be a part. JS!

Why would you say something like that? Are you commenting this under majority white choirs? Just like everything else, there is not always a lot of diversity. I don’t think you realize that you have to audition for this choir and this was the 90s in Mississippi, so a lot of Caucasians may have not auditioned for this type of choir. Also, it is not about what ethnicity is and is not in the choir. It shouldn’t and doesn’t matter if it’s an all black choir or an all white choir, we are singing praises to JESUS aiming to one day ALL go to heaven.
