I read this novel many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the re-telling of the Arthurian legend from Morgana’s perspective. Thank you for posting this audiobook - it brought back some fond memories.

Such a wonderful voice. The Redgrave family are blessed with these amazing voices. Fabulous story read by a fabulous voice, a supreme blend of talent. RIP Natasha you were so greatly loved. ❤

This is a wonderful novel, one of my favorites, but this audiobook version is not shared in full, but is a compilation of excerpts, some out of order. If you liked this, I recommend you borrow the unabridged audiobook from a library and listen to it in full.

Thank you for telling us. I'd noticed the first 20 minutes was repeated and went looking for confirmation in the comments. It was such a wonderful book and am glad you have saved me a huge disappointment.

I’m delighted to find this and I want those of you who have read this and enjoyed it to know that there’s a multi part series of the Mists of Avalon that starts with Book one: the high priestess of magic and then I can’t remember 3am. here 🙃what order they go in but the “stag” As well as the high queen or maybe that’s just me ha ha ha queen of everything you know more likely queen of everything I don’t know;) Wow, being this tired is its own kind of trip… is mentioned in one it’s the whole Arthurian story it’s just more detail. It has a black background and yellow letters when you’re looking for it on KZbin. It’s very well narrated as is this💚🧚♀️

Natasha Richardson was not buried next to her mother as Vanessa Redgrave is still living. But her Aunt, Lynne Redgrave.

Great upload except: Why is this version cut up and incomplete? Might be good to let viewers know in advance? @@greatbooksontape782

Definitely a problem with this recording, it keeps skipping which is really distracting......shame as it is well red and well written.

I've found that quite common with abridged versions of stories. Sometimes more noticeable than at others. Enjoy anyway I reckon...😉✌🏼 (The full version is over 6hrs)

I thiught in the beginning that Morgaine was talking to Galahad. The narration changed to call him Lancelot. Are errors like this going to plague this book?

Yes, MZB was a broken soul, but instead of seeking healing, she became a human monster.

Great narrration, but it makes no srnse. Either badly written or badly abridged. Maybe both. Can't listen.

I recall seeing this on cassette at the library some time in the late 90s. Most audiobooks on cassette were abridged. I suspect this is an MP3 capture off tape.
