If that division is shallow, then its possible. Brandon Moreno was cut from UFC then he came back and won the 125 lbs title because 125 lbs division is a shallow division. 125, 205, 265 divisions: around 40 ufc fighters each compete, shallow divisions. 135, 145, 170: around 80 ufc fighters each compete, very difficult divisions to win. 155: around 100 ufc fighters compete, most difficult division to win.
