The whole innocence is the point of this song, I think. I mean like, even if you can't sing but you still try so hard to sing the message for the one that you love. Their voice just adds the cuteness to this super adorable song.
@tommysanderson67874 жыл бұрын
The imperfect vocals, in a way, makes it more relatable and charming. Frankly, most of us cannot sing considerably well. I love it.

I agree. I think their 'imperfection' adds to the whole concept of the song. It's a song that I would actually agree with calling art.

@@ziggystardusk6629 No. That Steve Martin song was actually very melodic, and it had much sweeter lyrics. Plus, it had a ukulele and a trumpet solo played by Bernadette Peters. Don't you dare do that. ☝🏾🙂↔️🤣

Soundtrack of Juno is so... real. This guitar and voices. It's beautiful and authentic. Not audiotuned voices of big stars.
@andrewg78782 жыл бұрын
It's in their name, they're the MOLDY peaches for a reason. They're music is amazing and authentic from an era that was beginning to ONLY focus on production quality and what sells; they're an embodiment of what the punk rock movement was originally supposed to be when pop punk was storming the scene.

I hate how everyone is saying they can't sing. They can. I personally love both of their voices. Just because they sing a little different than everyone that you're used to doesn't mean they can't sing.

I'm sorry. She seems like a very sweet girl, and I listened to her tell a hilarious story about how she scared Mariah Carey at a haunted house she worked at, but this music is definitely an acquired taste. 😂🤣

I agree. I think they sound great. They're in tune and their voices are soothing. I'd much rather listen to something like this than all the vocal gymnastics of most star vocalists of our era. They're giving us a story and feeling through music, rather than giving us an exhibition of physical prowess. The average person doesn't have much nuance.

It's kinda the point that their singing is sub par. listen to the song. it's about 2 people who are highly mediocre but are in love, mediocrity is what we all live with, and it's okay to be mediocre but passionate.
@JackTheNews9 жыл бұрын
+fiveinchesofwow nahhh
@leech9119 жыл бұрын
The gauge of meritocracy is gauged based on the whole not on the works of greatness. If compared to the whole most of us are mediocre; that is reality. By definition, most people are mediocre. To deny mediocrity on the whole is to futilely fight the world we all have to live in. A basic bell curve will tell you that 68% of people exist in the middle; that's most of us. No one has said not to try your hardest, only you. You have missed the entire point, 68% of the world tries their hardest and still achieve mediocre, average. It's not that the mediocre haven't tried, it's that they have tried their hardest and ended up with average; and again, that's alright.
@kirstilike9 жыл бұрын
+fiveinchesofwow but isn't one person's best just someone else's mediocre? And life isn't a constant competition against yourself, become friends with all your flaws, and if you do that, then you'll be the most loving person that you can be and that's the best anyone can be, regardless of their academic or material success. I don't disagree with you that you might as well be as good to yourself as you can be, but you sound kind of extreme. Mediocrity, it's just a label that a stranger put on something.. it means something else to someone else.

People seem way more desensitized to "weird" music with intentional imperfections these days, especially if you're already accustomed to these scenes and genres. Most of the comments are a bunch of folks on the same page as each other.
