The moment I realized I was playing FEAR 4

Subscriber asked me to play the Trepang2 demo. Got to this checkpoint and it felt more like F.E.A.R. than project origin ever did.
I'm not touching it again until the full game is released.

When I found this demo and spent countless hours in the horde mode slaughtering enemies in slow-mo, basking in the gore and visual effects.....I knew that I had found my new game to be hyped up for like a kid again! It got me to reinstall all 3 FEAR games and play through them completely, even going back a second time for select levels/scenarios that I love! Then they updated the demo and I still really enjoy it, but the horde mode changed a bit, so I had to relearn the map, enemy spawns, where I could hide and be most effective from... Still, Trepang 2 is the FEAR 4 we never got. I'm beyond excited for the release day and will most likely end up ignoring my actual life, job, and relationship for a good quality chunk of say....a week or two as I immerse myself into the game and devour every second I have to play it. THAT is how much I adore the FEAR games and their gameplay! I believe it's being made by 2 young guys who are also big FEAR nerds, I remember seeing a dev log video of them talking about their game and how happy they are with the progress and reception, future plans, and such. Makes me so happy to know that there's some people out there that have the skill set to do this kind of thing when a fan community is really longing for a new entry in a beloved series, or even a inspired work that captures the sources main attributes dead on, but goes in their own direction while still being faithful to that source material! I can't wait for this game, I've literally been replaying all FEAR games, this demo for Trepang 2, and any other games that are FPS and feature bullet time like Max Payne, Maximum Action, Severed Steel.....I just can NEVER get enough of bullet time/slow-mo guns blazing slaughter fest....where you feel unstoppable and just make the enemies feel so overwhelmed and scared. This genre of games is so damn good and I wish there were more that were being made, but made with love and effort from fans that themselves love these games....otherwise you get watered down, half assed, cash grabs that are SUCH a disappoinment. Anyways, loved you video titled " FEAR is ridiculous", and have watched it many of times, it gets me pumped to play them any time, any day, lol. I hope to see more stuff like that in the future, 2,3, Trepang2, other slow mo shooters???... You've got talent for editing, and make entertaining videos!

Fear 3 had couch coop the other 2 were just temporary multiplayer till 10 years later to just repeat the campaign over and over again unless you got the on pc then it's still alive

Aside from the enemy ai and the slow motion feature there's really not much else FEAR has going for it. The environments are dull and repetitive, very little enemy variety, the attempts at horror and being scary are really weak. I feel like people conveniently forget about all the boring parts of Fear where you spent time wondering around generic office locations listening to voice mails to get any kind of story information.
