Little finger wrote a letter earlier to sansa that the knights of vale had been waiting on moat cailin(sorry for misspelt word IDR) which might be close to winterfell and they were marching towards winterfell to aid sansa.. earlier littlefinger conspired with cersei while in kings landing about the stannis attack on ramsey at winterfell and littlefinger suggested he would take winterfell from stannis with the help of knights of vale.. littlefinger was playing his own games.. it was just one scene where I liked him for a moment as he came to rescue jon from the battle

she was an 11 year old trying to save her dad, who in turn was trying to be an honourable hero and got himself killed by telling cersei mf lannister that he knows her secret. jon ignored her before the battle, and did exactly what she warned him about. she's also the only one who seemed to understand cersei in s8, so saying she let cersei 'play her like a fiddle' back when she wasn't even a teenager is crazy. the line with the hound was pathetic and the writers' fault, they're the one who chose the ramsay storyline for no reason - she didn't need more abuse, she needed to play the game in the vale which is what she's doing in the books.

He was a fool just like robb. Sansa warned John about ramsey but he didn't listen. They could have still won if John wasn't so stupid about charging towards ramsey when his side is fewer in number. They weren't about to lose because sansa with led the information, they were about to lose because John was so hotheaded and went to war with his emotions instead of his head. If sansa had told him he would have found a way to get the Vale army slaughtered too. Sansa did what was needed. She knew ramsey. She knew John. She knew the north. She knew the Vale. But no one would listen to her so she took matters into her own hands. The writing here was good. This wasn't John's fight anyway, it was sansas. John's war was with the white walkers. Ramsey was sansas trauma. It makes sense for her to be the hero here. John being the hero here would have been like arya killing the night king, or Jamie killing the freys instead of arya.
