@@tobe1207Hey Tobe. Amos 3:7 tells us that God does not do anything without revealing it to his prophets. In the New Testament, John the Baptist ( a prophet) warned/told us of Jesus' coming. Jesus himself said that John the Baptist was the greatest prophet (Matthew 11:11). Jesus warned his disciples about the suffering they would endure for his sake and for believers who would come after the disciples who would also suffer for his name's sake. Jesus continually warned us about his second coming (rapture) and how many false prophets would arise in our time. I'm only saying this to say that warnings are a part of God's love for us in the Old and New Testament. I can't image a loving God blindsiding us all without warning. There are two different species of cicada, one that spawns every 13 years the other that spawns every 17 years, Because of this 4 year difference it's rare that they spawn in the same year. Neither the solar eclipse nor the cicada spawn could even remotely be considered having anything to do with the religion of climate change.

Also important to note that despite what Sonny seems to think, there are a lot of different broods that follow those multiple year cycles, but not at the same time. We have Cicadas every year. As crazy as she is, Whoopi is the one who has accomplished the most in her life. At one point, she knew what it was like to work hard for something. So, it makes sense that she would still have some remnant of wisdom and competence in her brain. However small that now may be.

Thank you for saying what I was about to say also. Whoopi Goldberg doesn't know her Scriptures at all since she didn't mention Nineveh and their warnings. Israel had many warnings too before they would turn to the gods and be punished. Noah warned the people before the flood but no one listened to God's warning through Noah.

I realize that you and I come from different beliefs, however, there is NO doubt that God does give warnings. Something happened in 1913 in a little town in Portugal to encourage humanity to change the direction it was heading.
