Since the update, I’ve noticed a lot of bigger building have been split, giving you more options for your units. All the explosions look amazing. Also EUGEN 5v5s I think My only gripe is that the starting load time after skipping the intro in noticeably longer

I think the developers idea was for a cold war gone hot massive maneuver and combined arms warfare ie. cold war era doctrine, lots of movements and and little time to "dig-in" However, I do agree trenches would be so sick af. perhaps a good modder could take this on?

@@RockyMontisan We're witnessing "Cold War gone Hot" right now in Ukraine, and there still seems to be extensive trench usage even with modern combined arms tactics and drones. It's fascinating.

Trenches are always used to some degree. There's a big difference between a war where trenches are centerpieces like WWI and some WWII battles, and infantry making entrenched positions for defense. There is absolutely no doubt whatsoever that infantry would have entrenched themselves in a "Cold War gone hot"

There isn't many RTS games anymore, especially of this scale or time period. I am also waiting for BA but the devs fucked themselves trying to develop the entire game in Unity. For now, WARNO is it!

WARNO was in early access for two years and released a few days ago in 1.0 Broken Arrow is a more modern (2000's+) time period and slightly more forgiving gameplay. I love BA but the devs completely painted themselves into a corner by developing the game with Unity instead of actual coding. This is like trying to make a wedding cake with toddler sandbox toys.

Broken Arrows campaign has a bit more narrative to it. Warno doesn’t have much of a developing story just engage in battles on the map.

What a strange coincidence, I decided to reinstall this game today and didn't even realise it was fully released! It's a good game but the pathing is atrocious, units literally drive through buildings etc which takes away from the realism for me :/ Units also drive and move terribly fast and the mods that fixed this issue aren't working at the moment with the 1.0 release.

They are driving through budlings because you are doing a regular move if you quick hunt or quick move they will follow streets.

Ngl war game red dragon has more content just lacks some more modern features that war game has, warno is gonna be a cash grab bc of how much the game already is and with how dlc is going to be $25 each. Ever since I played broken arrow I’ve looked and play warno with disappointment tbh bc broken arrow allows so much more and that’s just from my experience in the beta. So fr im just waiting on broken arrow so I can not bother with warno again.
