I'd be more worried about them trying to pull that shit on my dog. How long until she decides she doesn't like how my dog, who I have lovingly raised since he was a puppy *just* old enough to be weaned, is basically my best friend so she poisons him out of jealousy? Mines: 12 days after I’d had given birth to our son, (a premature baby boy that my husband and I were unaware I was carrying. He was so early he couldnt breathe on his own, his lungs weren’t fully developed and he couldn’t nurse.) he told me he couldn’t do it, that it was too much for him and gave me an ultimatum, either give up our son or move out with him to my brothers. I moved out 25 days later when he was discharged and never went back. Anyone who could walk away from an infant in need isn’t worth my time and wont have a place in my life.

Not sure about men, but most women believe the WORDS a man says, rather than his actions. If I can teach even one person to analyze their relationship based on HOW HE TREATS YOU, not what he says, a vast number of folks would avoid heartache. It doesn't matter how many times a day he says he loves you, or how much; if he isn't doing the right thing by you (meaning, no lying, no cheating, no scamming, no stealing, no gaslighting, no mean abusive comments either in private or in front of his friends, no putting you down); if he makes you feel sad, uncomfortable, under pressure, stressed, less than worthwhile...he does NOT love you. His words are literally hot air. Observe his actions. Also, we can all make mistakes in a relationship, but only once. If someone does something repeatedly, knowing full well he's harming you or hurting you, it's not a mistake.

This is textbook psychopathy. He had zero emotional attachment and zero respect for you. Literally only wanted sex. Didn't want to break up with you because he knew you'd find someone else and he wouldn't be able to randomly call you out of the blue for sex. @@availanila The line "This isn't sexy" is an enormous red flag. I can promise you he views you as a sexual object exclusively, in the very worst way. The fact that he's your ex fiance means you dodged the largest bullet of your life. He's not willing, but more importantly literally not able to give you what you want and need in a relationship, so good riddance. This is a reminder that in life sometimes the best things (end of that relationship) comes disguised as the worst things (being broken up with). Thank God for unanswered prayers (see Garth Brooks song "unanswered prayers" for perspective) if you can't appreciate it now, you will once you find a good man

This reminds me of when things really went south in my first relationship. He became emotionally abusive, and whenever he called, I'd get this deep pit in my stomach. I wanted to keep telling myself that once we were married and away from everyone else (read: my FAMILY) things would be better, but somehow I knew that wasn't true. After I broke up with him, I realized he and his sister in law were subtly trying to cut me off from my family. To my knowledge, he hasn't changed much if any at all, and I sincerely hope he doesn't act that way to his wife and kid. To people who are in an emotionally abusive relationship: try, try so hard to keep your guard up when it comes to the abuser and their enablers trying to separate you from people who can help you. You need those people more than the abuser and enablers.

He glared at me during my entire speech and while I was mingling with all the other honor society folks. There are exceptions of course... if someone knowingly put themselves in a situation repeatedly where they knew they may cheat and doesn't that's different... That's a trainwreck waiting to happen... But if I go out and let's say Gal Gadot or some very hot crush of yours walked up and said they like you and wants to kiss... Don't lie and say that's not a temptation... It is... But a good person knows to immediately remove themselves from that situation and do their best to never have it repeated + talk about it with their loved one.... Mine was when his brother confronted me on social media trying to accuse me of either “faking COVID for funding for my hospital” or “being over dramatic over a cold”, I confronted my ex about it and his only response was “just change the subject, move on”. Our mutual friend told me he had suspicions that he’d been telling his family I was faking after what he’d told him. It was then I realized his obsession with being right about politics trumped my health when I couldn’t walk 3 feet without being out of breath, if my personal health didn’t meet up with what the conservative media was telling him I wasn’t important to him. I should’ve broken up with him but the “don’t let this end our relationship” talk got me. I realized right away that I regretted my decision and broke up with him months later. There was other stuff too, he wanted me to give up my college career and potential life as a x-Ray tech so I could be a stay at home mom to kids I don’t ever want, he wanted to stay in the puke hole town we’re from and I wanted to leave for better things. I’m better now, I don’t feel guilty for working for my dreams.

When the guy apologized for something which he actually did wrong, and then took it back the next day and tried to spin it off as this wouldn't "have happened if you didn't do "this" months ago". What I did was ask him for a bit of space because we were spending way too much time together and not at all with friends and family. But taking back the apology made me realize, it's just going to be a repetitive and toxic cycle, which made it so much easier to end.

The first partner I was in a relationship with was for over 5 years (3 years, then 2 more later on). I put up with a lot that this man put me through: he forced himself on me constantly whenever he wanted sex, he treated me like a piggy bank because I worked and he didn't, he made me feel awful about myself if I didn't like the things he liked (evangelion, some PC robot multiplayer game, the matrix, etc.), and the whole time I would just excuse it and believed I deserved it. But one day, he met my friend Megan, a beautiful Irish girl with a heart of gold and no ability to talk without it being word salad. I love Megan, she's one of the only coworkers I became friends with outside of work, and will always be her friend. She lives in a nice mobile home, and her house is gorgeous inside, just a bit small. When I dropped her off, my partner said "she's really white trash living in a trailer park". Quietly, I lost it at him on the way home, explaining how he can never speak to me about my friends like that, that her house is lovely and she's not white trash, and to never say that again. I broke up with him that night, and started dating online the moment I texted him it wasn't working out. And now I'm engaged to the guy I met shortly afterwards, who's a giant dork that loves Sonic games and the original Gundam anime. He puts up with my horror movie fanaticism and metal music I blast, and I put up with his awful puns and jokes. He's an idiot, I love him so much.

Relate SO much to you! My ex randomly would call my friends ‘ugly’ which really pissed me off. She’s like your sweet Irish friend but Mexican. She’s very timid and sweet but also hilarious and we’ve been friends for 12 years! He also didn’t like my heavier music and always dissed me being a Sonic fan constantly. Hed sometimes say ‘it’s cute’ (my music tastes and all) but would curveball me as if it wasn’t ‘mature’ enough and act all depressed when I was ‘myself’. Opposites stopped being attracted at that point. He never had sex with me but would (sorry) get off right next to me while I was sleeping and cheat on me through Snapchat and texting and calls. Even when I landed in the ER he was trying to flirt with other girls and he wasn’t even there to support me. (I tried to ‘end it’ ☹️) Good news is I’m with a hilarious, awesome guy! We blast all kinds of music together and share new bands we find. He’s silly and sweet and I couldn’t imagine myself with anyone else 🥰 he doesn’t get sonic (haha) but he lets me play it whenever I want and we play horror games together 💕 wish we could have a double date 😖 haha!

Before my cat got sick, we went to a concert because a friend of his had given us tickets. Early September, hot af outside, 6 hours without so much as a drop of water. That moment probably should have been when I was in early weeks of pregnancy and thought I was miscarrying (second child). I was laying on the bed crying, balling my eyes out AND in pain - I was super happy to be pregnant. I had previously that morning told my husband I could do the grocery shopping (he wasn't feeling like doing that or he had something to do at home or something). When I told him I think I was having a miscarriage - his response was a very annoyed, semi-angry "does this mean I have to do the grocery shopping?!" It took SO much for me to finally leave about 5 years later. I destroyed my sense of selfworth and self-esteem in that relationship. There was a lot of emotional abuse, cheating etc. but that memory is really stuck in my head. That definitely should have been a deal breaker ...But then again - I was pregnant with my second and did not think I could manage as a single parent. I'd be happier if I didn't have anything to do with him anymore - but he's a decent dad to our 2 kids nowadays. I'm a single mum to them but he sees them 3 times a week. And yeah - I didn't miscarry after all and the kid/kids is/are the light of my life ❤

@@clonetrooper8669 she was convinced werewolves where trying to kill her child so she would wake up at random times and make us sit in his room while he slept and she would do strange shit like put a protection spell on the doors and windows to stop them from getting in . she tried to get me to join in one morning she screamed for me to come to his room at about 3 in the morning i ran in thinking something was wrong she was standing there with a knife she sighed and said ow good you managed to get past my protection spell i know you are not one of them. i questioned her because i was getting really freaked out and worried about the knife she told me werewolves have been after her son since he was born and we need to fend them off . i sat in that room all night i was scared for her sons safety because of how erratic she was being i filmed her shouting at the door for them to go away and leave her alone and chanting random nonsense as if she was doing spells when i left in the morning i know i had to break it off with her but was scared she might hurt herself or her son so i got in contact with his dad told him how unhinged she was and sent him the videos of her pacing around her sons room at 3 in the morning shouting gibberish and just looking outright insane he took his son the next day and she tried to say he had kidnapped him when the police arrived to question him he showed them the video and they agreed he would be safer with the dad she took him to court and lost custody and the judge ordered her to get help for her mental health before he would consider joint custody again

Then they betrayed me as cruelly as possible. After they were done with me for the moment, they all abandoned me painfully, only to try to return a few months later. When I saw what they were up to, I socially isolated so as to avoid becoming a victim again. My then supposed, "girlfriend," just happened to be their leader and she was guiding them every step of the way. I have no idea how to read implied meaning, body language, true intent, sarcasm, and nonverbal communication. Thus, I can not tell who is truthfully trying to establish an amicable or amorous relationship and who is looking for a victim. This is why I opted to just live socially isolated. Also, without knowing what it is like to have actual friends, I not really missing out on anything. It is all just a theory, to me, as what it would feel like to be in a true amicable or amorous relationship.

So, I've got a couple of them here. First one, she hit me with a car after I punched her brother for stealing from us. Second one we lived together for about 6 months or so and we moved back to Michigan because my ex-wife was messing with my military disability (it was just easier to have my grandparents around to help out), she spent alot of time on the phone and I never thought anything about it her family was in Oregon. After thinking about it for awhile I brought up everywhere Id been in the Marines and had friends around where we could crash for a month or 2 so we moved to North Carolina after about a year or so there she started hanging out with her work friends, I was like cool shes settling in, until I wanted to meet them. When she said no, I knew what was going on so I packed my car and left, we were going threw her pregnancy at the time, so ya it came out it wasn't mine and she was just bangin some dude. Took 4 years to get my name off the birth certificate.
