Just read my mind! So his sister has no qualms about her brother taking her elderly and frail mom on a boat trip--and not only for 3 whole days, but this boat also has NO sleeping accommodations?? She was in on it (whatever the whole plan was, which is still a mystery, but no doubt it involved their mom's death). She needs to be investigated and questioned further.

Maybe the son killed her after the photos and dumped her body because going on a 3-day boat trip without bringing anything to sleep on, a suitable boat and not enough fuel makes it extremely suspicious. The amount of fuel would’ve been enough to go 1-2 miles out and back so the son probably went a mile out, dumped the body and went on the spare boat to land. The only thing that invalidates this claim is that the son went missing too

Yeah, no kidding. When my oldest was 2 and I was pregnant with my second, we were looking for a local church as we had not been in town long. My son is autistic and was often a handful so we sat near the back. We knew no one at this church. Some woman, well meaning I'm sure, came up behind us and offered to take our son to the children's room. I politely declined. He was antsy but not making any noise and we were the only people in that pew. She came up to us two more times with the same offer. Again, we declined, but the third time I turned around, I think the look on my face was enough to keep her from approaching again. I was extremely irritated. To this day, 20 years later, I do not know what made her think that I would just turn my 2 year old child over to the care of absolute strangers. I don't care if it was in a church. I didn't know her and was not about to just hand him over. My sister-in-law from another, safe country overseas, could not understand why I kept such a close eye on my kids. She had kids the same age but was used to not really paying that close attention. She just wrote her phone number on their arms, which in her defense was a common practice there. If your child got lost over there, someone would just call the number on the kids arm. We had to explain to her that in the US, it was dangerous and borderline neglect to not keep track of your kids in public. And this was just a little more than 10 years ago. It's sad that the US has been so dangerous for kids for so long, but it's the way of the world now, I guess.

@Kidey11

What I think happened is, and this is just my theory: The man knew that the mother was neglecting her daughter so he was being nice to gain her trust. Kinda like what people do to new animals in zoo's and such. Anyway, he bought her gifts, took her out to places, so he can seem like that, "Perfect Guy" to her. So when she got to a specific point of trusting (Hence, when they went out together alone) he probably knew his next part of his plan. He took her into a hotel room, (Maybe) did some sexual things to her and continued on with his life. When people and the schools noticed that she was mysteriously disappearing, he made a deal with her mother to keep it a secret. He probably gave her a lot of money too, and since the mother was already neglecting the poor kid, she didn't care. So she basically sold her to that man. The man most likely did a lot of inappropriate things to her (Probably even had intercourse with her), and killed her. He used his heavy-duty bags to safely transport the body around and also purchased a shovel so he can bury her body. After he buried her in a safe and secret spot, he threw away the shovel. (Most Likey to avoid suspicion from the cops) After he was done with all of that, he called the mother in to the hotel room for an unknown reason. (Could've been to pay her, sexual ordeals, or just to have a chat.) To avoid getting tattled on by the mother, he killed her. Shot her. He didn't bother getting rid of the evidence since he rushed to his house (or wherever the heck he was staying again). He rushed into his house and finally; Shot Himself. I think he killed the mother so when the cops find his body, the mom won't tell the cops the truth. Even though she was a PoS and neglectful, she probably would've told the truth to the cops. So the man killed her so the *real* secret could be, well, a secret. This is just my personal theory on this. Also, I'm really sorry about what happened to Ralisha in this story. No person, and especially a child, should ever go through that in life. I hope she's still alive somewhere... I can only hope...

My husband and 16 year old daughter were on that cruise ship Rhapsody of the Sea the voyage before “Amy”. I can tell you the waiters and other workers were being to friendly with my daughter. They would take turns bringing the bread shaped like alligators and other shapes to our table to give to her, and other “goofy things they would do (I’m sure to get her to feel comfortable around them, like they were friends. I went from being annoyed to being fearful of their behavior towards my daughter which I discussed with her, and she couldn’t go anywhere on the ship without my husband or I. There were I think 2,000 workers on the ship all from different countries and none spoke English. It didn’t ruin our time, but I was cautious. The next cruise out was when Amy disappeared, I knew it had to be one of the waiters, and wasn’t an accident. After that cruise, I had no desire to go on another one. The Rhapsody of the sea was a beautiful ship. I believe we were on the second voyage. I still get sick when I think that could of been my daughter.

In the case of missing Grandma and son, I think when something becomes so massive and convoluted, the key is to get back to the basics. Common sense. Gut feelings. To me, Adrian was tired of taking care of his mother. I don't blame him for that given he was her full time carer for 7 years. But I do think he took her out to the ocean to kill her. Maybe a Mercy killing. Maybe not. But since we only have the sisters account, I think she knows. I think there was a purpose for that final picture she took. Evidence to support that she went to Sea. And as a last memory. Adrian did use that extra boat to escape. And he would have needed his sister to help him with that. An old woman with dementia would not have even known where she was going or why. Thank goodness. The whole demons story was fabricated. Common sense.

I remember another case of potential human trafficking from a cruise ship, and the local law enforcement wouldn't let American law/law enforcement do anything in that area, yet would not try to solve a crime of an American woman being taken off a cruise ship for most likely human trafficking, as they said that she was just "lost" despite claims of sightings. I been on cruise ships before, and they do give off a tight knit community vibe sometimes. But twice I been approached by men that tried following me around and trying to follow me back to my cabin, particularly on the more well known cruise ships, until I got back to my family. Despite the feeling of safety from being secluded at sea, people will take advantage of this unfortunately when your guard is down, and when you may be docking at a country where your family can do little legally to get you back if you are kidnapped. Awful people.

If you have ever had to visit DC General Family Shelter, you can feel the lust/perversion oozing from many of the male employees there!!! you want some advice? buy a gun, and keep it in it's holster, on your person, at all times. sure, you could always buy mace or a taser, but those can be dampened by various cheap and inconspicuous means, but with a solid, police issue, Glock branded pistol at your side, even if they had a high-level bulletproof vest on, you could still put a couple .9mm rounds into their legs and they'd drop like a stone, which generally speaking, you should always do, because if they happen to have a bulletproof vest on and you aim for the chest, it may be too late by the time you realize your shots had no effect. if you do go this route, you should definitely invest in firearm safety training, as some of the most tragic deaths have come about due to firearm negligence. anyway, hope you stay safe! with absolute sincerity - a concerned internet user.

The boat, even moving fairly slowly, would still leave a wake, effectively waves for those that don't know, that would make it harder to swim, with higher speeds making them larger and making it harder to catch up without them. And if she wasn't seen as she fell, it would have been difficult to notice her in the water, or even hear her, especially on a larger cruise ship. During the day she might have a better chance, but at night, the odds of her being spotted would have been really low, especially before they were actively looking for her. And if they don't see her fall, they don't hear her calling for help, it doesn't matter how good of a swimmer she is, if she's able to swim up to and stay near the ship, she can't just climb aboard. And depending on how long it was between going overboard and being reported as missing, she very easily could have run out of stamina, faster than usual thanks to the wake and trying to call for help. Just falling in unprepared could be the end of an Olympic gold medalist swimmer. There's too much against her survival to say a lifeguard would be able to survive falling off a cruise ship.

I live 20 mins from Frankston, where Adrian’s boat went missing. Why would the family allow a 83 year-old woman with dementia, sail on a boat for 3 days, with no sleeping quarters? The sister even said she slept all the time! I hadn’t even heard of this case, as I was busy raising kids at the time. Thank you for covering it! These days, I research many mysterious cases, and this one really creeped me out!

It's a massive fear of mine, that and going missing. Your family has no closure, no body for a funeral, sometimes no leads, no evidence and so on. Then it turns in to a cold case, that's terrifying and makes me paranoid in public. As a female, I'm usually very scared to go out alone but sometimes I have no choice. What especially makes my anxiety spike is men whom throw random yet persistent cat calls, for whatever reason it usually pisses them off when you ignore them. That makes me think the worse, before anything else. Like why does no or rejection make you upset, why is it also hard to keep rude uncomfortable comments to yourself.

Cruise ships are very dangerous, and are known for having tons of missing cases on board the ships with no resolution because the law doesnt apply there, and most of the times it is the crew themselves who are the main suspects. Therefore, never walk alone or be by yourself in cruise ships, never, not even when walking a seemingly safe and short distance. Always be with someone or in a group and make sure your doors are locked and secured and so are your belongings, because the crew can walk in with master keys and take your info from your passport. Also, be careful of your food and drinks because they could drug you to make you an easy target. Again, never be by yourself, even if its a family friendly cruise like a disney one, they are dangerous too. Also, never trust anyone with your kids, ever. Not even if they offer to babysit them for you, and especially never if they offer to take them on trips, give them presents or rides somewhere. You never know someone's true intentions, so it's better to be safe than sorry.

Maritime law gives them the option to commit or witness any crime without having to report anything to the local law enforcement or FBI. also, though ports and headquarters are in the USA they filed the companies in Panama and Bahamas to avoid higher taxes & more lenient authorities. The easiest place to traffic humans or toss someone off a balcony.

why is nobody talking about the fact that he could've thrown her in a suit case? most people, depending on how flexible they are, can fit into a suit case. also forgot to say this, but she couldn't have been in the water. because of the weight of the body, it would float on the surface of the water. unless he had any weights or something, I doubt that she was thrown in the water. However- she could've been pushed off the balcony and drowned, but because she was a strong swimmer, and because there's normally a ladder on the side of the boat to climb up, I don't think that's possible either

Yeah same. Its all way too sus. How can you let your child go off with a random man and assume shes at your mums house without even bothering to check?? dont be shocked when she goes missing

I dunno. It does seem a bit sus. Who would be stupid enough to let a random old man take your child, it really doesn’t make sense. I thought she was stupid at first but considering you just said that, and the fact that the mother was living in a homeless shelter...she could have been aware or even have made a deal with the man to pimp out her daughter...they might have split the money. They should have checked if the mother suddenly came into any money. I believe the wife found out that he was renting a room at different hotels and potentially thought he was cheating or something and brought it up and he probably panicked. Because if she knew were the hotel room was she could have gone to check. I think he may have also smuggled the girl out of a window wince she was never seen leaving (depending on how high up their room was obviously ) and it’s also possible that the murder or his wife rattled him so much that he was going to come clean but the mother found out and MAY (this is a half baked theory I’m not a detective) have killed him and made it look like a Suicide. Or perhaps the people he made a deal with to traffic the poor girl wanted to tie up some loose ends. Idk. I’m still trying to figure out how the shovel and trash bags would fit in

@@mysteryhuman5531 bags and shovel could be a cover up to make it seem as if he killed the girl and burried her body to mislead police maybe

The worst way to live isn't even life in prison on death row, the worst is your child missing not knowing if they are alive or dead...😢 Everyday ur wondering what is going on with them.....scary thought.
