Well, I wouldn't say understanding of "architecture". He has a good understanding of what makes a building beautiful. But architecture is also "how to make my buiding stand", and most of his creations, including this one, wouldn't be able to resist real world's liabilities such as the wind or gravity. To make such buildings out of stone bricks, you'd need to add archs andwounterweights in order to stabilise your walls. And that's also what makes a building wonderful : how you defy laws of physics and STILL manage to get something nice to look at. It's gorgeous on Minecraft, don't get me wrong, but that doesn't make him an architect, just as being a top player in For Honor wouldn't make me a master fencer.

@@raphaelregnault6914 It's very interesting that you mention that, because architects are in my experience not very apt at grasping contruction in architecture, in terms of physics. I was actually the odd one out and took a special interest in it. I suppose it's partly because we've added so many regulations to the building code, that the profession has been split into multiple ones, so "constructing architects" (I don't know if that is the right term in english) and engineers has taken over that part of the job. But regardless, I would love to get your input on where I could've improved my buildings. As I talked about in my video about my building process, I always try to root my buildings in real world physics, by adding arches and buttresses when needed. I can point out a couple of places where one might want to reinforce the structures, but most of the time my contructions are overemphasized. @@SixWings Geez, I'm being called out XD. Tbh, I'm in no position on giving anybody a lesson in architecture, I've got partial knowledge and basic notions from history classes when I was a kid and I studied the medieval period and the evolution of styles of my country's churches. Anything I could say is based on nothing but feeling and I'm not entitled to say if you're right or wrong to do what you do, especially on Minecraft since it may not render as well as in real life. But, since you ask, from a realistic point of view, I feel like your monastery could use some flying buttress in order to share the weight of your stone structures, which would be amplified by the strong wind since your building is on top of a montain and mostly constituted of towers. Today we would use lighter materials and add a steel frame into the stone, but since you go for a medieval style, you may as well go for this era's way of dealing with these problems. You seem to know a great deal about achitecture, and I don't know where you're from. But you seem to get your inspiration from the european gothic style during the 12th century.
