Your video came at such a perfect timing. This is exactly what i needed to hear! When you said “telling them is subconsciously asking them for permission to be successful”. I never thought of it this way, but so true! I moved out of my parents house a year ago. Recently quit my 9-5 last month. Started my online business a month ago and have a part time job. And I am so happy with my decision! Keep it up with your videos Mike, they have been so encouraging. You have a very unique perspective on life!

Bro! I know exactly how you feel and what you've been through. With the exception of my Dad who always supported me in whatever I did and continue to do in life, my Mom was HARD on me about that and for a long time, used to make me feel like tae (sh--), growing up. It was spiritually hard to be at Family parties. I knew what she would tell the Tita's and Tito's behind my back, and even worse, would rub it in my face [trying to make it look all jokingly] that my cousins are Doctor's, Nurses, and/ or, graduated from Harvard and all. My sweet revenge in which I am seriously and strongly looking forward to, is being absolutely successful and to prove to her that the old ways and mentality would've been my downfall. Of course, like you said, it all comes from a place of love, and I guess that by my success, it is my way of showing her that despite that kind of love, it hurt a lot.
