I wish to call on all Monkees fans past ,present ,and future if you can ban together and get the star on the walk of fame then together we can get them in the rock and roll hall of fame! This would be the greatest 50th anniversary and fitting birthday present in memory of Peter and Davy. Mike,Micky,Peter, and Davy deserve the long overdue honor to be there with everything they have accomplished in their lives. To me they are all very special people and musicians. I don't care what the critics had to say about them . They stood their ground and fought for what they believed in. Now it's the true fans turn to fight for them. My only regret is that I never got to see them in concert in person. I can only watch them on you tube now. I wish to thank them and their families for the laughter ,the tears, and most of all the wonderful memories. God bless the Monkees now and forever! 😍😁😀😖😅😇😇😇😇

Giant Step with Peter and Davy and Banjo! Wonderful version. First heard this banjo version on Stranger Things Have Happened-- Peter's only solo album. @hanniballecturer Actually the Byrds debut album had 3 songs by Gene Clark, who was the main songwriter for the group in the early days and 2 co-written by Clark & McGuinn. The Monkees debut song had 2 songs by Michael Nesmith and that is it, so you are incorrect with your statement concerning the Byrds who had 5 original songs on their debut compared to 2 by the Monkees.
