Hey, Theodore here! I've been busy over on another YT channel called WhiteboardCrypto. However, I still have a ton of content for this channel too, but needed some help. As you've seen in this video, we're trying a new narrator, let me know what you think! If you're an animator familiar with Videoscribe, feel free to email me using the About tab on this channel's page :)

The study could have just showed the self fulfilling prophecy idea: if you make someone believe something about themselves, they might actually make it happen. Kinda like if you always tell someone they’re dumb, they’ll eventually believe it and not even bother trying to become intelligent. That ultimately makes them kinda dumb

Hi there. I just graduated from university and I'm here to earn an income and not be a burden to my family. I want to be able to take better care of both myself and my family because my parents divorced and we are in a difficult situation. My mother cannot work because she had cancer surgery. I work hard here to make my dreams come true. I make these comments to make my voice heard as much as possible. Even if 2-3 people out of this many people support me and join our EAL family, it is enough for me to find courage, thank you in advance...

As pathetic as this is(bullying orphans is pretty low), on the scale of terrible things that happened in the 20th century this ranks a 1 of 10.

Great video, so now let’s take this a little further, because now we have content creators on KZbin who actual consciously do these types of videos as pranks, as showing stutter or other awkward behaviors and tape people’s reactions! So my question is what effect will this have on the consumers of such media, let’s say most of these consumers don’t know that most of human behavior is a learned behavior… I am just being technical about these things because people don’t seem to care. A good example of a KZbinr is BigDawsTV, honestly I feel this guy needs to have a disclaimer 😁, what’s his motivation is to act like that, in some cases it really pathetic, and we are associating comedy with it.

Hello! Thanks for making this video! I am a Dutch teacher and would like to watch this with my class with Dutch subtitiles. The transcript is all messed up though, probably because it recognizes is as Vietnamese. Is there a way you could change the language to English, so the auto-transcript will understand better what is said?

Sometimes I stutter but mostly keep quiet, unless I speak my truth from the bottom of my heart. I want to become a psychologist so that i could help people, but I fear that i migh fail the school’s exams and will never be able to attend a university where i could learn and get a degree in psychology 🥲 (Since my memory falls short and I’m too quiet, and lets better not talk about social and education pressure.)

Thinking you might makes your subconscious believe it would happen so without you realizing it it happens. The thing is, you have to go against what it says as long as it doesnt bring harm to you or people around you. Social skills are called skills because you can learn them, your not born with it and its never too late for you to start. For example try to challenge yourself everyday on doing something that can improve your communication with others. These baby steps would eventually help you a solid social behavior without having to change your whole personality. We live one life, so you might wanna do your best not regret taking that one step that might make it memorable. Believe in yourself and remember time is precious so don't waste it. I wish all the luck!!! 😊😊😊

This was an interesting video, but bow I'm curious. What was the conclusion of the study? Did the non stuttering children start to stutter? Is critism an effective deterrent against undesirable behavior? Is praise an effective way to bring about desired behavior?

im 18, ive stuttered midly ever since I could remember. Ive tried every “remedy” my family threw at me it honestly feels like it happens by itself. No matter how hard I try to focus at times theres no remedy and honestly doing things like public speaking in school and around friends will only make or break your self confidence. I do believe it can be considered a learning disability technically but I dont agree that its learned im not sure about that maybe for the lesser degree stuttering that as.

You cannot say that accurately. You do not know as if this was the case and saying never forces a person to assume you have done research you have not completed and dare I say that you may not have completed any research without bias on the topic. It would have been best if you said," ...no, it hardly ever was better for anyone. And the people who said it was better are only talking about how the days were better because it seemed more simple and less dire." Which is probably what they are meaning than what you are actually hearing, more than not.
