I know this is just my opinion, but I believe power scaling in OP shouldn’t be a thing in general. Let’s take Buggy for example, Zoro can’t cut him but Sanji probably can beat up Buggy but that doesn’t mean Sanji is better than Zoro. Same with Enel. Enel was incredibly OP but Luffy was a hard counter against him, but that doesn’t make Enel weak or Enel below Luffy, since he can easily beat Sanji and Zoro during the Skypeia arc. The world of One Piece is simply too complex and big to try and put numbers on powers on characters.

At the beginning of the series, Zoro was the strongest member for quite a while, the time skip was what set the strengths apart, Zoro for example, was the first member of the crew to awaken haki, observation haki that is, he was also able to cut steel, he was strong enough to damage oars without any ass pull power up(like the 100 shadows luffy fused with, he was the only one able to hurt kuma, Sanji was really hurt and shaking like hell but Zoro had no problem standing and even fighting, he also was able to dodge a bubble storm from kuma, he was also able to withstand all his pain PLUS luffy's pain combined, even in time skip, Zoro was superior to luffy in armor haki, as it was confirmed in wano that he was using ryou for his big slashes the whole time(ryou is when you project armor haki through an item or from your hands) that is the highest peak of armor haki, and now with his training, I think Zoro will become the best user of armor haki in the world, of course luffy is still stronger than him, what with having the 3 types of haki and having reached the max level of two of them, still, I think the whole monster trio will be able to reach the max level of observation haki, Zoro will be stronger than luffy in armor haki, but luffy will still max it, just that Zoro will break the maximum known limit for it, Sanji is probably gonna stay at intermediate level of armor haki since he has his raid suit and all, I think at the end though, they may be as powerful as the captain himself, like how Shiki the lion, whitebeard, and Roger were equal in power, well, Shiki was 10% weaker than the others, so Sanji is probably still gonna be weaker than luffy and Zoro, Zoro will be equal to luffy, why? Because mihawk and shanks are equal in power, and Zoro is gonna surpass mihawk, also, Zoro is gonna transform all of his swords into kokutos(black swords) meaning that both Wado ichimonji and Enma will raise from excellent grade to supreme grade swords, and sandai kitetsu will raise from a good quality grade to an excellent grade sword, that's an insane fucking power up.
