It's called fishbone* *Silco has a black scar on his left eye.* *Silco loved sea monsters and Jinx wanted to make something Silco really liked, so Jinx made a sea monster inspired weapon based on Silco (like the coffee mug she had made for him).* *Jinx used the "Fishbone the black eyed Sea monster" weapon to kill the council because she thought that is what Silco would have wanted.* *In the game she banters with "Fishbone" like it were parent-child conversation.* *"We will show them. We will show them all"* *You are welcome.*

The "peace" that the council was agreeing too was on the condition that Silco gave up Jinx, similar to how Vander was supposed to give up Vi. I've watched a lot of reactions and noticed that Vi never called Jinx by her name, subconsciously Vi was never going to call Powder "a jinx" again but this meant that it sent the message that Vi would only love Jinx as Powder making her love conditional. Silco's love was unconditional, no matter how many times Jinx screwed up he would always be there for her even defended her from his most loyal like a father would.

Vander refused to give out Vi when the enforcers wanted a scape goat, this enraged Silco thinking Vander has gone soft only caring about his children, not Zaun. Now that Silco treated Jinx as his daughter, he refused to give her out as well parallel to what Vander did. In turn realizing what Vander went through, daughter and children comes first before everything. Ultimately it became the downfall for both of them, everything comes full circle

Silco manipulated Jinx but that wasn't his intention. He just saw himself in her, abandoned by his older sibling because he was different, and wanted to give her the affection he didn't had growing up.

Yeah, had that Discussion before... Kinda the question in the room is "was Solco grooming Jinx", but I feel like the answer is a clear "no" to that. Jinx was in a bad state of mind when he found her. And I dont think he activly tried to turn powder into jinx, in his way he loved her like a daughter, but himself not being a very stable man (already hooked on shimmer, violent crime boss, hammered in 'survival of the fittest' mentality), he couldnt give POWDER the help she would have needed after her traumatic experience, and instead raised her with the mentality of embracing it and drawing strength from it, which in the end caused the birth of Jinx. Powder would have needed Therapy, but the whole circumstances of her life in the Slums meant she never got it. Silco and Jinxs' story is the perfect example of how even the best intentions can cause harm in the wrong circumstances. Jinx was the one person he didnt want to hurt, but exactly this intention ended up hurting her...

Both Vi and powder lost their parents, fast forward to them losing their family because of Powder (by accident), Vi decides to abandon her instead of comfort her already traumatized sister. Not only she abandoned her, she also strikes her which is kinda messed up after you learn about their past. Powder never seemed to like violence (like her family getting hurt) and feared getting hit ( remember when she ran away in episode 1 and mylo told her she should stick with them and “take a punch or two”.) So instead of comforting a very fragile LITTLE SISTER, She hits her , blames her for the deaths of people powder deeply cared about and abandoned her as the only person powder has left despite her pleas of “please I need you”. Clearly vi wasn’t emotionally stable at that point but that’s still what caused jinx. Silco just comforted her like Vi should have done. Silco and Vi both made Powder/Jinx feel “perfect” despite everyone else blaming her for everything that goes wrong. But Vi ruined that feeling of comfort by doing everything Powder feared the most (being blamed and leaving her alone) at the very moment powder truly needed her (she literally just killed her dad and brothers and couldn’t even mourn them cause she got blamed for their deaths instead and the last person she had left validated what everyone else said about her, 🤦🏽‍♀️ which is very stupid) Silco has never once done that to her.

When she left her, she literally just went around a corner because Vi realised she had to cool down or she would do more things she regretted, like when she hit Powder just now because her emotions were just boiling over. She just lost everyone but her Sister in an instant and learned that her Sister was responsible for that. And yes, no matter how sweet and innocent Powders crying puppy eyes were, she was the on causing the explosion that killed the boys and forced Vander to jump in. That she had good intentions does not change the facts here. The Crew was home save, Vander was free, they had an exit and were on their way out. The Door was holding too. Blaming Vi for losing it here is stupid. Noone could keep it together after that. Vi getting some Distance to breath for a minute was the right decision on her part, she wasnt in any state of mind to handle her fragile Sister. If things wouldnt have gone totals wrong, she would have come back a Minute later, taken Powder and left. But, we all know thats not how things happened. When Vi was cooled down ebough to return, Silco already got to Powder and Vi was Kidnapped. Not that Jinx is any more to blame here, from her point of view, she was abandoned. She didnt see her Sister just went around a corner to calm down. All she knew is her sister punched her and left her. Shes a little girl, and for her, a world broke down too. But thats kinda the point of the whole scene. None of the 2 girls is handling the situation well. Vi might be older, but they are still both Kids, handling a traumatic experience.

But she decided to cool off when they were still around the villian. Which is stupid. She should have worried about that when they at least got back home.

I love how the line “what could have been” happens before the shark crushes the window because in that room there’s a group of people voting for a future where Piltover and Zaun live in peace with each other so we are literally looking at what could have been before Jinx destroys it all. I also enjoy the parallel with episode 3, where in both situations Jinx thinks she’s doing the right thing or helping some she loves but in reality her interfering is just turning what was to be a good situation very very bad. No matter how much we love her, she truly is a jinx.

It's was always just a dream however. The peace was dependent upon Silco turning over Jinx, which as revealed in the episode was never going to happen since he genuinely loved her like a daughter. In my mind, it was emblematic of why both peace between the over and the undercity, and Jinx and Vi reconciling, was not going to happen. No matter how hard both sides tried, their trauma, differing ideals, and plain misunderstandings of each other was always resulting in failure.

Once Piltover voted for Zaun independence, the people in Zaun would go crazy and kill Silco themselves if they heard him trying to reject the deal. She wanted powder to be that innocent kid again. Silco had a good point, "You'll be with her a day before she realizes you aren't that girl anymore and turns her back on you." In the end Silco accepted her for who she is now and Vi didn't. So when Silco died and she became Jinx completely, Powder disappeared meaning the events that occured in the past were the past and thus Vi's voice disappeared because her trauma was gone.

Also vi would not turn her back on powder she might love her differently than before but i doubt she woudl just give up on her like that

Just noticed that Jinx literally jinxed everything throughout the ENTIRE series.. First she takes from the stones in Jayce's apartment.. which causes the explosion.. Which gets them noticed.. which creates a tension between the two cities.. which forces vi to give herself up.. which makes vander take her place.. which makes vander get kidnapped because if he hadn't had been there silco wouldn't have been there.. which makes vi and the others try to save him.. which causes everyone's deaths.. which makes vi lash out at her.. which makes her become Jinx..worst thing is after a while you even realize she LITERALLY makes everything worst.. she goes rampaging on the air balloon.. which gets the guy caught.. which gets the guy sent to still water.. which gets him beat the fuck up.. which makes cupcake go to vi instead of him.. which makes vi and cupcake team up.. which makes vander worried as she's supposed to be dead.. which makes the chief of police get threatened.. which makes him even more inclined to listen to silco.. while simultaneously silco isn't telling Jinx about vi.. which gets Jinx to start distrusting him.. which is exactly why she was even more inclined to believe silco was going to sell her out.. which pushes her over the edge.. which makes her kidnap everyone.. which makes vi and her have that talk.. which sends her into a panic.. which makes her shoot everything in sight when silco gets a gun in hand.. instead of disarming him easily with focus and precision.. which gets silco killed.. which pushes her to shoot the council.. which probably is going to send the undercity and all of piltover into an even BIGGER tension.. Jinx really had bad luck from episode one my guy(☞ ಠ_ಠ)☞

Thats why she is jinx, but she doesnt have all the fault, the first one its ekko for telling vi about jayce, then vi for accept this mission and leave jinx when she killed all his family (I know that was something necesary for vi but had the opposite effect for powder). Also, I think silco would did the same thing not matter what cause he had already the shimmer, he only needed to get the perfect timing to get vander as a prisioner which thing happens to show in the serie thanks to the arrest of vi. But, like I said I think silco trying to kill vander would happen not matter what just in another way or method.

They do have a entire lore, the world of Arcane is called Runeterra, there's an official interactive world map on internet and every character belongs to a region of the map and have their own lore. Literally almost any champion could be a protagonist of its own series. The game might suck, but the lore and worldbuilding is just mindblowing.

I think some of it is just too much. Like there's gods and celestials and void stuff going on. That's the problem with lore when it's written without a coherent story: the lore can be anything. But thankfully Arcane is doing a good job with housekeeping and organising it all.

Silco is probably my favorite villain of any show now. His subjects were all loyal to him no matter how tough it got, he never forgot what it was like to be at the bottom, and in the end he never would have given her up and the council still voted to surrender. I feel like everyone misses the fact that Mel’s jewelry/armor starts to glow 10 seconds before the rocket hits (not a reflection of the rocket). Indicating that she had a sort of “spidy sense” that alerted her to the threat, as if you pay close attention nobody else is noticing but her. This just means that she may have been hiding some sort of ability and she may save them all.

The reason why Vi was naming those people who appeared as a monster to Jinx is because Jinx sees these people as negative memories that why she is thinking of them as monsters and Vi thinks of the as positive memories and while she is naming them, notice how Jinx got smaller and smaller while the monsters got bigger and bigger. Vi was trying to make Jinx feel better and calm down, unknowingly she made it worse and got her more agitated.

The ones Vi has are just enhanced versions meant to make the workload easier and safer. This was obviously meant to be a defense mechanism to protect the user from a cave in, which is something miners have to constantly deal with. Vi just had never been in the situation to trigger the barrier until now. Also, the barrier is part of Vi's passive ability in the game.

Just random crazy thoughts, but everyone talks about how rough Jinx/Powder had it, but think about this. Vi gets put into prison as a kid. Not, juvi, not a women's prison, there's just the one prison. There's no record of her existing so no one to check up or look out for her. The guard at the desk and Vi infer that she's physically assaulted pretty much daily. She's also allowed into the cafeteria with everyone else. So for roughly 10 years she was probably brutally assaulted by inmates and guards with no hope for help or anyone to care. And people are upset she's into women? She probably doesn't want any dude to lay hands on her ever again. The fact that she's even somewhat mentally stable is a miracle.

One of the things I love best about this show is that our Heroes even our villains at times do fail. Just like in almost any other show. But in this case, our heroes fail because of their virtues, not despite them. Over and over we see where doing the right thing, the virtuous thing leads to unintentional and oftentimes tragic consequences. And the little piece of Powder that was still inside Jinx died protecting her sister from Silco. This show is a Masterwork in storytelling.

People are saying “oh look jinx messed up everything again like she always does” at the very end of the season but when the meeting started at the council tower Vicktor started the conversation out with “Jayce made a deal with Silco” and that deal will lead to their independence. We find out as Silco is dying that he was never going to give up jinx. Giving her up for prison or even death was the deal so I don’t even think they would’ve got their independence. They were just agreeing fir the deal. Just for the people in the comments to know, I don’t play league or watch the lore only the show.

The thing is, that council meeting was FOR agreeing with silco's terms. Jayce didn't even bring up jinx's involvement in all of it. So as soon as everyone agreed, doesn't matter if silco gave up jinx or not, it was a done deal and the matter with jinx would've been a separate thing entirely, IF the agreement went through. Jayce even confirmed that they can't govern the undercity anymore so even if he doesn't give Silco all the other benefits with the hexgates and ports, Zaun would've still been granted independence regardless. So in the end, true to her name and character, she jinxed it all again. And it makes more sense that way too, since you know, it's a nice message to end things on. Jinx has this quote in the game, where she's explaining what her name means. She simply says, "jinx, stands for jinx". So yeah

To answer your question. Every character (champion) has their own background story and interaction with the other characters. Champions can be considered somewhat major players in the story. This animation almost fully followed the regular lore. We can tell you who the champions are in the game (the main characters) but by doing that we might spoil you. Not knowing them adds a lot of mystery to the story which I think will make it better for you guys. They followed 85%/90% of the lore but they added other characters in or gave some more important characters additional lore such as Vander and Singed. For example something that's not a spoiler is that Silco is not in the game. This is not the only well developed area of the lore (LoL story). You have Noxus (Medarda's are from there), Damacia, Ionia, Shurima, Shadow Isles, Bilgewater and Freljord. For me it's seems very likely that will cover about 3 or 4 more of these areas, some are interconnected.
