I lost my husband of 59 years to cancer, and listening to Justin Hayward sing December Snow, brings visions of our amazing years together. As it turns out, we married in October and his lyrics resonate deeply in my heart. Thank you Justin Hayward for your soothing, inspiring and encouraging music, yesterday, today and forever. My wife, finally was able to be in snow! She was 58 years old, she couldn’t stop touching the snow on the tree limbs 🥰, I loved watching her gazing at all the Winter snow, she threw her first snowball! She didn’t even feel the cold!

Hauntingly beautiful song that the whole world should have had the privilege to hear, but alas little to no airplay on the radio and minimal sales for the album. Hayward’s mastery of his craft is way above most musicians in the entire world. Such a privilege to listen to this man.

I have loved Justin Hayward and the Moody Blues since way back in the 60s when I was a starry eyed teenager who believed in the legends of white knights and damsels in distress. The fact that he and they were English only enhanced my attraction to them. Now, all these very many years later, I hear his voice and Im taken back to those years and nothing has changed. The piano and the guitar are superb in this song, but its his rich, resonant voice that got me then and still, gets me now.

I was fortunate enough to see them in person in 1972 at the Baltimore Civic Center and they were phenomenal! I too was a big fan of theirs. Hard to believe time has flown by since then!

I think Justin got tired of the stress of the band on the road, lot of rehearsing when working with orchestras, etc. He has said he enjoys smaller shows he's been doing on his own
