Probably the most unique and recognized band during the late sixties for their ability to reach out and have influence over the their vast audiences, that is the ability to touch the listeners very soul. Their writings, arrangements are an amalgamation of so many different styles of music, yet seem so right when the final product is introduced to the human ear. Their music over the decades still haunts many of us and for some, it's a spiritual experience. Love you Guys.

@@dennylaine8735 I enjoyed the earlier incarnation of the Moodies (all the early British bands - must have been something in the UK water that produced so many fine artists) as well as the later lineup that was so productive and unusual. In your time, I especially enjoy the filmed version of Pinder's Haven't Really Got the Time. So much energy with Rod Clarke bouncing around. Energy that the later lineup didn't have on the same tune. They were built for other things. Glad that you have so much of your work from then on records. I've listened to them for many decades, as I backtracked when the first albums of the later progressive band were released.

@@skandababy Those are absolutely NOT the original studio recordings. I'm very familiar with In Search of the Lost Chord. Ride My See Saw has Justin playing a rhtym guitar only with a different ending. I also hear vocal differences and even mistakes vs. the original recordings. The bass in the intro of Dr. Livingstone I presume isn't the same at all. Do you mean they recorded it off camera then lipsynced...even though they actually plug their instruments in here. The amps are on.
