I grew up in a town and only saw the milk mans pony. One day in 1950's I went to a country race. I could feel the horses galloping down the track and when they passed I couldn't believe how big they were. I was 17

Geriatric gelding worked! Yay! He was so curious over your shoulder there watching the fence repair. Your hairy horses especially leaving their whiskers makes them much more comfortable on grass over the winter. Well done on leaving there coats. I saw Epilan rolling in mud on his rug. I have always been drawn to the mischievous furry friends and I always have a good chuckle when horses learn how to get out and have a wander. I once saw a video of a horse who could unlatch stall doors and proceed to let all his friends out as well. LOL 😂

Happy New Year to the Moons - human and animals - may 2024 be full of all the magick that makes life worth living. It's too cold to give horses a hose down. A little mud isn't the end of the world. Besides, the horses adore rolling around. I'm told the relief of taking the weight off the spine for a short time feels good to the horses. Think of them as very tall Bassett hounds! Lol!

I let my horses grow their winter coat and I don’t disturb it . I only put a lightweight rug on if it was very wet weather . A rug expert once said that people complained about rugs not being waterproof when in fact it was sweat . Agree it depends on the horse . Love your videos.

Once again you have made me cry. Such lovely heartfelt lives you are living. You both do amazing work with your animals. My partner and I both think that owners should be made to put by a percentage of the horses winnings in a ring fenced account for their retirement. There’s far too much over breeding with no responsibility attached. Owners should want to do right by their animals. But if not, then pressure needs to be brought about for change. Buddy is so beautiful. He looked like he was supervising the repairs u were making Nick. U r so blessed to have so many horses to love and take care of. When i was younger, i used to love drawing horses. I always wanted a horse of my own. But because of where i lived in the city it was impossible and we could not afford or to be blessed with one.
