Just so so sad, my father was a PC based in Oldham and was one of the officers on the moors searching when they found little Lesley Ann. He was also one of the officers who was in the police van taking Brady to Chester Crown Court, he also heard the tape recording they had made. It upset my father so badly as my older brother was only a little baby at the time and it crushed him to witness it all. I do remember my father telling me that Brady & Hindley never showed any remorse in court. When Hindley tried (and failed) to get parole my Dad was upset at the thought of ‘that monster’ getting out. My Dad found it hard to talk about them and like yourself just referred to them as those monsters. Again another thoughtful and respectful video and very touching .. Thank you x

A hairdresser I once knew said his ex mother in law had a boarding house in the area at the time of the investigation. He said some officers came up from London and stayed there, she overheard them talking and wouldn't discuss details but said the true state of the children's bodies was never made public. While living in the north west and unfamiliar with the area I went on a day trip to Leeds we drove through Saddleworth Moor it had a bleak and unpleasant vibe. When I realised it was Saddleworth and what took place there I knew why.

I prefer that they got to rot in prison than given the relief of passing to the other side. I personally don't believe in Hell, I think we all go to the same place and if looked at closely (how they were raised, mental issues etc) everyone would have empathy for everyone else. I know that's a tough pill to swallow sometimes and I struggle with it too. But I prefer them to have been stripped of their freedom and dignity and having to spend their years rotting in jail. As Abraham Hicks once said, you wouldn't give the death penalty to those buggers if you knew what the death experience was really like for all (Wonderful) Probably an unpopular opinion but I prefer they had to live in jail than be free.
