Join myself and fellow youtuber Lee ( The Aqua Adventurer) as we visit the locations and graves of The Moors Murder victims.
The Moors murders were carried out by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley between July 1963 and October 1965, in and around Manchester, England. The victims were five children-Pauline Reade, John Kilbride, Keith Bennett, Lesley Ann Downey and Edward Evans-aged between 10 and 17

We went to Pauline's funeral and I can still remember how broke her poor mum was. I live in Hyde now but my parents still live in Gorton. Such a Sad end to their poor lives I wish we could all still do a search for poor Keith God bless him. Take care bud

Rest in peace dear little children, they should technically be older than myself now with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of their own. What monsters these 2 were, I sincerely hope there is a heaven so these children can play forever and to be back in the arms of their mothers, and possibly a hell too for the ones who could not of possibly be considered as human.

Just so so sad, my father was a PC based in Oldham and was one of the officers on the moors searching when they found little Lesley Ann. He was also one of the officers who was in the police van taking Brady to Chester Crown Court, he also heard the tape recording they had made. It upset my father so badly as my older brother was only a little baby at the time and it crushed him to witness it all. I do remember my father telling me that Brady & Hindley never showed any remorse in court. When Hindley tried (and failed) to get parole my Dad was upset at the thought of ‘that monster’ getting out. My Dad found it hard to talk about them and like yourself just referred to them as those monsters. Again another thoughtful and respectful video and very touching .. Thank you x

I remember watching a tv programme about the awful events .Albert Pierpoint , who had been the infamous hangman of his day had offered to come out of retirement and hang the two evil monsters for free.Brady & Hindkey had escaped hanging as Capital Punishment had atopped a short time before the evil moors murderers had come to light.Poor children, what a terrible way to have their lives extinguished. They must have been so afraid.Poor Lesley Downeys mum,Ann West was to live the rest of her life in torture and fought against parole vehemently. Bittersweet this episode Paul.Lovely respect as always from you , and Lee tonight. As sad as it is for all the families your heart has got to go out to Keith Bennett's mum,Winnie. She wasnt able to give her son a funeral.- It doesn't bare thinking about.❤

I prefer that they got to rot in prison than given the relief of passing to the other side. I personally don't believe in Hell, I think we all go to the same place and if looked at closely (how they were raised, mental issues etc) everyone would have empathy for everyone else. I know that's a tough pill to swallow sometimes and I struggle with it too. But I prefer them to have been stripped of their freedom and dignity and having to spend their years rotting in jail. As Abraham Hicks once said, you wouldn't give the death penalty to those buggers if you knew what the death experience was really like for all (Wonderful) Probably an unpopular opinion but I prefer they had to live in jail than be free.

A hairdresser I once knew said his ex mother in law had a boarding house in the area at the time of the investigation. He said some officers came up from London and stayed there, she overheard them talking and wouldn't discuss details but said the true state of the children's bodies was never made public. While living in the north west and unfamiliar with the area I went on a day trip to Leeds we drove through Saddleworth Moor it had a bleak and unpleasant vibe. When I realised it was Saddleworth and what took place there I knew why.

That Hindley campaigned to be released and people supported that campaign is deplorable. Reform should be a part of a prisoner's stay in prison but punishment should be the main reason a person gets locked up. If you become a better person while in prison...so what! It shouldn't mean you deserve to be released early especially if your crimes are so cruel. Unfortunately, no-one can escape the multiple stories in the media in recent months about parents who have been incredibly cruel and violent towards their children and that treatment has led to their demise. The sentences these people have been getting are beyond pathetic: 18 years, 12 years, 16 years, 8 years. Off topic a bit but it's just very disheartening.

It seems unbelievable today that some people actually supported Hindleys release as early as the 1970s. She had some high profile supporters such as Lord Longford. who was a very naive man who was easily minipulated. I always wondered how the victims families must have felt when this was going on.

I dont think the BIL has gotten enough appreciation. No he wasn't the best person either but when he found out what they were doing he went to the police. Many people wouldn't have. Many people would've stayed quiet out of fear for their own safety. If he hadn't gone to police theres no telling how many victims they would've had. They never would've stopped and it's not likely that police would've caught them until they either had Many victims or one of their victims escaped alive. The BIL saved so many children at the risk of his own life.

Good video Paul especially considering the horrific nature of it. I thought Lee did a good job explaining things too. Although Brady was a psychopath I find Hindley even worse given that she tried to worm her way out of prison multiple times which thankfully didn’t happen. I hope one day Keith Bennett is found and laid to rest although it’s sad that his poor mum has already passed away. Another awful case that happened in the moors was Lesley Molseed 10 years after the Moors Murders which involved the young girl being murdered and an awful miscarriage of justice which ended up destroying three families.

Toddler James Bulger abducted and murdered 1993 should also merit a mention. While nothing to do with moors murders, poor little mite still ended in same fate. I actually sent one of my own son's teddies to police investigating at the time with a note for James parents to either put it on James grave or keep for new baby his mother was pregnant with at the time. I will never know if his parents received it or not but I sincerely hope they did. RIP James Bulger

A friend of my deceased grandmother was from this area before moving up to Scotland where I'm from. She told my mother about rumours in the area at the time that Hindley and Brady buried some of the victims when they were still alive. No idea if true but wow how disturbing. RIP to all

I remember the photo graphs and the poster obviously in black and white in a frame outside our local police station as was then on the corner of Grosvenor road in Chester, I was 12 years of age at the time , my late father's brother Victor Randles was on the jury at chester azises at the castle in court number one, My late uncle victor who had seen action ln WW2 At Alamein but fortunately came back , but unfortunately this broke him a family man with 3 daughters he was excused jury service and suffered a nervous breakdown, he was never the same man after this horrendous episode, this is one reason I believe in capital punishment,if one is prepared to take someone's you should be prepared to fore fit your own, .

What a shocking period for crime for the uk. I was in infant school at the time. When I was a paper boy I used to read to about the evil two and it used to fill me with fear. I felt so much grieve and sadness for the families. These two deserved much more punishment then they got. Things have improved these days, but there is still so much cruelty and evil in the world.

Thanks for this one Paul and Lee. All death is sad, and all people deserve to be remembered, but especially those who were taken too soon and robbed of their future. And although I understand that people thought that capital punishment should have been in play for these two, maybe one day you could visit the resting pace of Timothy Evans, to remind us why it wasn't. We'll done on keeping composed and respectful.

That was so sad and so awful that poor Keith Bennet was never found. I remember watching his distraught mum,Winnie saying she would keep on searching as long as she lived, and she did, poor woman. My only consolation for Winnie is that I truly believe they ARE back together again in Heaven, safe with Jesus and preparing for the next life adventure when the time comes! My deepest sympathy goes out to ALL the parents and families of those children , whose lives were cruelly taken, cut short by that evil pair. And I think that even if we still hung people, we would never have got anymore from those two. Brady’s brain was twisted from birth, he was never mentally normal, and should have spent the rest of his life being examined by learned scientists to try and work Out what was wrong with his brain, if he’d had had a severe bump in childhood, or even if other members of his family were deemed abnormal mentally too. I’m sorry…I know none of my theories can bring your loved ones back. They were too good for THIS world, but I have no doubt that you will all meet again, with Jesus in Heaven, and will rest, and enjoy the pleasures of Heaven, before God decides to send you on another adventure in your next life, where you may meet and recall previous people you have known in past lives. God will look after you and make you all happy and safe. Just have trust and all WILL be well! There is no death! Godbless you all, those who have passed and those who Are still here. 💐💕🙏🙏🙏🙏
