I agree that the people that worked on this deserve a chance to make a longer movie, but this story was told in a perfect length. I've seen too many two hour movies that could have been told cleaner in just 30 minutes. The length here was perfect.

I feel like one of the marks of good storytelling is being so fully immersed that when it ends, you want more because you care about the characters so much. This one is so great because you want it to be a full-length film, but it's also damned closed to perfect as it is. Just well done.

I grew up there and the writer/director/actor was one of my best friends as kids on colington. the secret is that most of this was filmed in Wanchese , NC not Colington NC .
