My life was forever changed the first time I heard this song. It broke down the barrier preventing me from truly connecting with my Heavenly Father. Once this happened though, all the trauma and pain from my past came to the surface. When I pushed everything down, it manifested in a perpetual cycle of unhealthy dysfunctional behavior. It was far from easy. But it was imperative that I finally face and deal with my past in order to truly heal. So God told me he'd be with me every step of the way during this excruciatingly painful time. And He was. Fast forward to 2021 although the pain still comes sometimes it doesn't stay. The chains have been broken. I am finally free. Free to fly, and become exactly who God created me to be.
