Wow!! I am very new upon my Journey with our Father and Lord Christ. I just recently added praise music to my meditation and prayer in the morning. This song has me in tears each time I listen to it. As I am even typing, I have to wipe my tears off this keyboard because His presence of Love and Joy reaches to my core through the beautiful voices and His presence that you have to feel through the speakers. I'm listening to this song in Jan of 2022 to start my year right with God. I want to dive deeper in my walk with God and seek Him more. I have been idolizing relationships and when it didn't work out, I get hurt and eventually come back to God. I know that I need to take this season I am in to grow closer to God. I'm tired of backsliding and having other things take the place of God. It has been hard trying to start fresh and be positive, but I know that God is with me through this. The Lord told me this morning there would be a breaking today. There were two times in my life that the Holy Spirit came and overwhelmed with peace and love that is stronger than any love given to me on earth. It lasted about a month for each two times. It was so wonderful to have that taste of heaven, and I can't wait to get there!! I felt sinless, clean, completely peaceful, loved, love for others who were not so loving toward me. I did not fear about sharing Jesus. I was totally satisfied with HIS love and lacked nothing. I was filled with all the fruits of the spirit including self-control of not over-eating. The Lord is so Good. I am a prisoner of Love for Jesus Christ. He has me completely flipped upside down and inside out in the best of ways. The Lord never leaves us, I ran from something I never truly understood or had the pleasure of experiencing, His presence and personal relationship. 20+ years - alcoholism, IV drug addiction, rx addiction, meth, prostitution, losing all, and the Lord restored all back BEFORE he ever called my name. Which was about 2 years ago, and since, I can’t and won’t shake Him, He is EVERYTHING. His mercy is unlike anything we could ever know. An ocean of mercy and grace for all, no matter what you have done or gone through, the Lord says, my mercy is prioritized for those with the worst paths and stories. He doesn’t go pick the church folk, He picks the broken vessels and is glorified as they become Whole exactly as He wrote in the Book of Life for them to do. If the Lord is calling you, or you think He is, just curl up at His feet and surrender it all. I am forever in love and in debt with thankfulness for the death, burial, resurrection, and ascension of the Living Jesus Christ, Who is powerfully alive within and upon me, all Glory to the Father, and gratitude to Holy Spirit for never leaving me in the trenches alone. I gave my life to Christ at 7-8 years old and He is faithful to keep His promises-no one can snatch HIS ppl from the Fathers hand! Don’t be discouraged, no matter what today brings, no matter what your facing, the lord is bigger and nothing catches Him by surprise. Let’s allow Him to catch us by surprise with His goodness today, irs overwhelming, Lord bless us today with Your overwhelming love and presence, help us to walk deeper in relationship with You, and silence guilt and shame for all who need to see this testimony of Your wonderful and unsearchable Goodness, mercy, and unconditional love.
