I had hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness) with my daughter. I was soooooo sick!!! I lost 13 lbs in just a few days. I would have been admitted to the hospital, but they were full so they sent me home with home healthcare. I was hooked up to a “mobile” IV until I was about 20 weeks. I have to say though…..She was worth it!!! She is 25 now & is an amazing adult!! I pray your morning sickness is over soon!! I am so happy for y’all!! ❤

My husband and I have prayed for you two to have that dream come true...God has truly blessed you and I absolutely think that it is life affirming and true to your love story! We had one..in the worst way..but they told me I would have no more. I did not have a lot to do but throw myself into the one I had. I had her sister 363 days after the first! Did not see that coming! I had zero symptoms. Except that the tea smelled like hay! I had a son 15 months after that ! I felt like it was so refreshing to see you and Zac embrace all of your life. You are blessed and I will love your updates. You walked me through life with a stoma..I watched you grow..this will be so great...I know it will be great. I love your real and endearing posts!

Maggie, pretend nothing is going on? All over the INTERNET? Come on, Maggie. Does nobody know you are the famous "Let's Talk IBD" Maggie? Don't friends and family watch your channel? You are famous. Now about nausea. It was a real problem for me. Crackers at my bedside. Popsicles. More crackers. Stayed away from the meat counter and fish store. I had to quit work because of the nausea. It's pregnancy. That's how it is for some folks. If the doctor threatens to hospitalize you fight to eat. I refused all meds. I just ate and hung out in the bathroom and ate again. You are lucky. Zofran and Ginger! I just forced down teeny bits of food very slowly all the time. Then it all went away and I craved eclairs. I gained 50 pounds. I was preggers when my girlfriend was. We decided to make Shrimp Creole for our husband's. She went into the fish store and I watched her kids outside about three stores down the street in the French Quarter, New Orleans. But we had to shell those bugs because they came with heads and tails! Oh lord, it was awful! She shelled three while I was in the bathroom and then I did three while she went to the bathroom. Somehow my really good and "easy" recipe became a great meal that we could not eat. The guys and kids loved it but we ate white rice. It seems all systems are go for you. Just because you had one terrible, awful pregnancy does not mean this one will go wrong. My first was no picnic but successful full term, despite having been told I'd never have ANY children naturally. Hah, the doctors were so wrong. The second was easier but premature. It's a crap shoot each time, but everything sounds so normal this time. We wish you a gorgeous baby and much less of the nausea. Even dogs can get nausea in early pregnancy. It's SO NORMAL! Your joy is contagious. Concentrate on that and know that it's usually better later.

@@helengarrett6378 Regarding your first sentences, you do realize she is sharing these clips only now, right? This was filmed weeks ago! She's not sharing it all in real time online while not saying anything to her family and friends! There is no "Come on, Maggie" here. Listen properly to what she says, instead of just jumping to conclusions. Come on, Helen.

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I also had that kind of debilitating nausea that you're describing. I was devastated when it still hadn't improved by 12 weeks, but my midwife told me that it often subsides by 18 weeks, which is the turning point in a pregnancy where the placenta takes over the production of progesterone. In my case, it did, and I had a wonderful, amazing second half of pregnancy, so I'm really hoping that it's going to be the same for you! I know it's tough, but hang in there. It might not yet feel tangible, but you have the strength and the ferocious love of a mother, and it will carry you trough. Wishing you all the best! 🧡

Congrats! For tips on nausea try the HER Foundation. I suffered from severe HG during both pregnancies. Nausea doesn’t magically go away as soon as ppl hit 2nd trimester. It’s damaging to women that the conception of that exists. I lost my job working with kids with disabilities due to HG, and my employer had demanded I go back to work at the start of 2nd trimester. It was also psychologically damaging bc I felt like what was I doing wrong, was there something really wrong with me, etc. that I was still miserable. Staying on top of IV hydration made a big difference along with 4-8 mg zofran. Things turned for me around 17-18 weeks. Since I had HG, that meant I could eat some things & water started to seem palatable again. Good luck!

I am SO freaking excited for you & Zak. You deserve this great news and something working like it should, no assistance needed! I was extremely nauseous too, thats how I knew I was pregnant one day I woke up, ate a peach, and immediately had to vomit. People said it's a good sign of a nice strong pregnancy. Unfortunately the nausea lasted 21 weeks & appetite was hard--I ate whatever I could manage to that sounded OK. Lots of saltines, ginger ale. Crunchy cheetos were one of my main cravings 2nd trimester probably related to sodium. 3rd trimester it got a lot easier for me but I know many women start to develop other pains/ligament pains at that point. Since you are missing your lower bowels it will probably be helpful for you to wear a support band

Is it okay if I ask how it feels to know you are pregnant? I'm nowhere close to having children since I'm 26 and I'm not ready for something like that, but at the same time sometimes I desperately wish I was 😂😂, sometimes I want to just stop BC and allow a pregnancy to happen, even though I'm still young I feel I'm too old to be a mom, I'm literally afraid to become a mom after my 30 because I feel I won't be as fertile as I'm right now or worse, to know that I can't have any... Maybe I provided tmi I'm sorry 😅😅... Anyway, congratulations ☺️

My favorite part about being pregnant was feeling the baby moving. I hope you get to feel that someday.

@@GretchenHawk-qd4zy thank you so much for your comment ♥️, I really hope to feel the same some day, the main reason why I'm scared of both not having a chance and having a chance is as well for having hypothyroidism, I was diagnosed at 19, I would have to be incredibly careful for a possible miscarriage, with the passing of years I have accepted the possibility of never having children to the same concern, my hopes are to at least get to have one on my 30s, I don't know if by then I'll be able to have my parents for them to see a posible grandchild, but I want to be positive, thank you so much for your words, I hope for you and your children to be happy and healthy ♥️♥️

@Framokamc I have hypothyroidism as well, but I wasn't diagnosed until I was in my early 50's. Knowing you have it would be helpful because your doctor could work with you. Maggie, again I am so excited and happy for you and Zak! I still can’t help but think that maybe your issues with conceiving naturally were due to your right fallopian tube and now that it has been removed it allowed the left one to function normally and that brought about this miraculous blessing. From personal experiences with endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome I know that I had tried to get pregnant and was unable to conceive until I had a cyst rupture and had to have surgery to remove a couple other cysts and they removed some endometriosis deposits at the same time and within three months I was able to conceive and gave birth to my first child 35 weeks after conception. I did have two miscarriages after that pregnancy and the doctors again did another surgery to remove a few more cysts and deposits and again conceived a month later. That pregnancy would have been twins but I experienced vanishing twins syndrome and the second baby never developed but I gave birth to my second child at 40 weeks and three days. I had one more miscarriage after that and decided to stop trying because I had two healthy children which were 18 months apart. Anyway the right tube might have been the culprit in stopping you the entire time and removing it was the solution to the problem.
