The Moses Scroll (AI)

In the late 1800s a Jerusalem shopkeeper and antiquities dealer claimed to have purchased a series of sixteen ancient parchments from Bedouin living east of the Dead Sea, where they found them in a cave. The text was in Paleo-Hebrew and consisted of an abbreviated version of the biblical book of Deuteronomy. If genuine it would be the most important biblical manuscript find in all of history. In a veritable mystery saga, the fragments mysteriously vanished, but it's quite possible that some of them survived and may one day resurface. If so, the world of biblical scholarship will literally be turned on its head! Thanks to AI technology, we can now revisit this case and get acquainted with some of the characters involved in this incredible mystery saga!

@loridavis7089 1st and second commandment together (making 'I am Your God and you shall not worship and make other gods beside me' as one commandment and adding another tenth commandment 'You shall not hate your brother in your heart' , making Jesus's words about two most important laws, sound much more based on this ancient set of rules than forming an altogether new religion.

I love your videos, Dr. Hanson. Such an amazing discovery and so many non-believers. This reminded me of the Kensington Rune Stone with so many doubting the authenticity. Family members of the founders of the stone died. I saw a photo of the back side of the stone and there's a faint outline of Leif Erikson. Is there a simple way to prove the authenticity of the Moses Scroll? Perhaps pollen, leather strips, etc.? It certainly looks real to me! Thank you, Dr. Hanson. 🕊️

Thanks for your kind comments! That's what keeps me going! Unfortunately, since the originals disappeared, we have no way of examining the vellum thru carbon-14 or anything else. But there are ongoing attempts to track them down. That's what's needed! 👍
