Astounding. Just seeing a single close-up, with no context or other clue, my first thought would be "movie set". But how much more subtle and amazing than our own imagination is nature, in all her manifestations! Thanks so much for sharing this wonder!

Lava tubes are super scary while being super cool! I’m thankful I don’t know what you’re doing when you’re doing it in this case.

Oh my GOD 🥹 I am stunned 😳 my heart ❤️ is pounding just watching this short video. Thank you Scott, Seeing stuff like that is so incredible, words......... I don't have the words to describe how much it means to me that you take us alone to see Hawaii. I may be a bit weird but that is my favorite video. I'm in AHhh of the magma formations. WOW!!!!!!! To walk in a lava tube would be a dream come true. And you live there. That's so awesome 😎 YOUR THE MAN SCOTT !!!!! THANK YOU for taking me with you I loved what I saw 👀

When the (stalag)mites go up, the (stalag)tites come down! Lol Really cool seeing these formations. And I was going to ask you how tall was the ceiling, but I could see that you were standing erect. Really amazing find!!

As I was walking the old power line rd. That passes by the Emesine cave a DOFAW worker stopped to ask if I'd been into the cave. I told him no and asked what it was like in the cave. He responded " if you've seen one lava tube , you've seen them all"

Those are some stunning finds! So cool looking! I find myself wondering if heavy rain/water somehow got down there while the lava was flowing through to cause such formations. But that is just a guess on my part from seeing them dripping. I would love it if someone with some knowledge about such things found your video and explained some of it.

Anyone interested in wood fired ceramics, will notice the resemblance to the inside of an anagama kiln and this. It has to be to do with the temperatures but it looks so much like some ash glazed pottery!

I've been in the tourist big tube. Cannot remeber it's name. It inspired me to imagine the terrible forces that formed it. The Big Island geology is an awesome memory for me. Circ. 2009

Many years ago, I watched a movie called Journey to the centre of the earth. All I can say is, don’t go in too deep 😂
