Can’t wait for the Flat Side Special! I broke mine this past summer “my fault “, my fishing hasn’t been right since, absolutely love that rod,I doubt very many have tried it,but it’s a phenomenal bladed jig rod, also probably the best treble hook rod ive ever held in my hand!

@@bradtucker1852 Yes, if you prefer to throw a chatterbait on a moderate fast action you’ll like it a lot, the tip has a lot of movement from the blade and allows you to know when you get a bite or if it’s got grass on it or something, oh yeah it fishes those crankbaits very well, ive thrown a 5xd on it, it’s not great for it but it’s doable, it’s an awesome rod

Thanks for the info! Do they have a swimbait rod in this line? I mainly use the Vitalion, Deps tiny bullshooter, Manifold Castelion, and the Megabass I-Slide, all bluegill based swimbaits as there are no Shad in my pond. In your opinion is the jump from Levante to Orochi worth the money? Specifically for the Whipsnake and Shaky head rod. While we are on the topic where do G-loomis GCX and shimano Expride fit into this line up as far as quality and sensitivity? Is the Levante shaky head spinning rod a lighter or softer action compared to other brands medium light or medium rod actions? I'm highly considering the Levante rod for hence; shaky heads but stupid tubes and other texas rigging techniques as well. I'm concerned however the Levante shaky head rod is too light an action compared to other brands medium action (1/8-5/8) rods recommended for shaky heads. Is this the case?

You mentioned the Perfect Pitch and a Magdraft 6 inch, it’s a 1.25 oz bait and with a nail weight it’s about 1.4 or so ounces With the Perfect Pitch being rated to 1.2oz Do you think the extra weight of the 6 inch magdraft would be an issue?

I like Megabass jerkbaits more my self, but thats just personal preference. Megabass Jerkbait special was built specifically for jerkbaits. Expride works for jerkbaits, but not designed for them.
