Helpful video, I like your style. Hey, does it advance on its own like a sewing machine, making an even spacing, or are you moving it upward all on your own?

I’ve never heard someone talk about the benefits of different speeds and the ply of the yarn, so thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!! 🤗

Just started tufting my first rug! Was nervous about material ripping and stuff but it’s actually easier than I thought and this video definitely helped with basic info I needed! Thank you!
@indysanders40797 ай бұрын
Aaahaha you have a great knack for adding a little comedy all through your lesson. At 10:41 demonstrating that tufting down doesn't work, the buzz and the Eugh! And then a little later when talking about speed and going "Oh sheet!" when it is set to full out the box, yeah that was me! I like your teaching style, your confidence and reassurance is nice.

Please quick question. What kind of fabric do I use...can I use a prestretched canvas or do I need a special one
@theflakes4k2 жыл бұрын
I have seen people use pre-stretched canvases & it worked out for them. I personally have not used them so I cant say much about them. I use primary tufting cloth, its more on the expensive side compared to burlap and monks cloth. Its is wayyy more forgiving when it comes to holes & beginners so it is worth it to me.

@lynniespringer1705 Жыл бұрын
What is the name of the fabric that you have? If I were to order some what do I look for? Rug fabric, or embroidery fabric. The rug fabric I have laying around the house is woven much looser than what you have. Could you clarify? Thank you

Thank you!! How do you get your yarn skeins to pull out smoothly and not get caught? Do you unwrap the entire skein and roll it differently?
@dataviathomas69072 жыл бұрын
Hi. New to tufting been trying with this gun. I was just going in the upward position and that been putting nothing but holes in my cloth. I tried in the downward position and it moves(no holes) but only in the downward motion. Now I can't get my yarn to stay in. Smft....I tightened the fabric as much as I could and even added more pressure
@Dondijaerenee2 жыл бұрын
Omg easy said thank you ! Hate all the technical talk where I have to keep rewinding the video lol thank you I hope you got more videos on the subject I need it cause the cloth I’m using ain’t the one for me
