I have to hold my build I'm currently working on since I decided to wait for the X870E motherboards and honestly, I might just end up waiting for this case while I'm at it. The Evolv X2 is so interesting and I like that the air flow is just vertical and it doesn't have to spin around in the case before exhausting. Very neat!

The Evolv X2 is an interesting concept but it just looks...old, almost, like old monitors with extremely thick bezels. I will give it to them on the unique factor, though, in a world of PC cases that are mostly identical. I'm glad to see them revamping their G series, it's a good solid case line, the 140 only is certainly an interesting move. I also hope they're running the regular NV series alongside the MK2. I would love to see them do a revamped Elite for the extreme enthusiast market, but I get that's a very niche use case for the cost of manufacturing.

I really like the x2. Those are awesome looking. Stuff extra cables in the basement, only route the 24 pin and cpu pin cable up, the gpu, hd audio, usb type c, 3.0 and the rest can go to the basement. Use fans that daisy chain with magnetic pogo pins and "bobs your uncle" as Marcus would say.

Took me about 30 seconds to come up with GPU brace that doesn't interfere with fan configuration.

So here is a question for everyone. Why do you need your system lit up like Blackpool Illuminations? All you are doing is adding more heat into your case for your fans to try to expel surely? Bring back solid cases with a few mesh type air holes on the side to attach fans to. A lot of these tempered glass cases look like fish tanks now, or is it just me?

The heat pollution of RGB lighting is effectively zero; low power LEDs with a surfsce to scatter the lights are simply not a factor, nor are the controllers. It's entirely bling at an extra cost.

We have no temperature testing for this case so how do you know it's temps are worse?

@@jakegammer64 considering its got fans at the bottom to draw air in and fans at the top and rear to expel it i assume it should be totally fine right ? gives the air a direct path from bottom to top well not direct since it has components in the way but atleast it should be better than most fishtank cases where they take air in from the sides and has to do little bends to reach the fans on the other side of the case

Not really. The new CPUs are not X3D versions yet, the cases are half a year out, fans are not changing in a way that matters. If you wait for half a year now, you will wait for another half a year, then another.

Lots of people making strimmer cables now. Some have improved on the basic design but all are cheaper than the Lian Li. Li has white cables with black sockets. UGLY.

It's starting to get boring seeing new cases. They are all so similar! It's TG sides and often fronts and no support for massive amounts of drives. Yea, I'm that type. I like plate sides. I like support for ten or more drives, preferably hot swappable. And I have no love for RGB or even massive amounts of light what so ever. Yes I'm also closer to 60 than 50 years old. There used to be a lot of cases that supported these things. If nothing else you could buy a case with 5.25" drive bays filling the entire front and hot swap HDD cages for them. Two 5.25" drive bays supported three 3.5" HDD's or up to eight 2.5" drives. Now I have to really search to find stuff like this. Many of the manufacturers that used to make these have discarded most of these products. At work I built servers. Even those products are now harder to get hold of. Supermicro and a Taiwanese manufacturer are my last holdouts. But shipping a single case from Taiwan isn't cheap.

I have advocated this over a year and a half ago, but you KZbin is don’t listen or read these unfortunately. I know you have a lot on your plate I understand. The manufactures are in the process of eliminating the wiring are nonsensical applications of the whole lot. Plus you will find the integration eventually of the wiring and water systems that will be plastic tubing built into the system itself. This will come in time it’s just a matter of getting the manufactures on board and jug up for them production process it’s not a new idea like I have advocated if you happen to read this by all means I’ve given you a like but I did say you’re just click on it move on and you think it’s Clickbait but I can assure you, I mentioned this many months agounfortunately none of your colleagues have happened to read any of the notices or information that was provided so I’ll leave it to that and I wish you and your families and friends and all the best.
