The owner could charge admission... this is absolutely beautiful, so relaxing, feeds one's soul. This is a masterpiece!!! I even wondered does this person own a nursery because the # of plants, materials, etc is just staggering! BTW Jim I am like you in that my garden while not huge is full of variety. I have been "working" on my current garden for a dozen years, been gardening for much longer, yet just heard the "3, 5, 7 Rule" on one of your recent videos for the 1st time! All I knew was that I didn't want my garden to "look like a builder did it" as it seems the same plants are used over and over throughout a typical n'hood. Of course there is always "work" to be done, plants that need transplanted, new plants to be added. It never stops evolving... praise the Lord :) Thank you for sharing this treasure, your own gem and other gardens; all are so very appreciated.

Wow!! Amazing! I am inspired. So many great plant pairings and design ideas. I love how the iron hardscaping in the first area made a "woodsy" garden feel elegant and formal. I also love all the intimate spaces you "find" as you walk, and how the intensity of light changes from space to space. All is so mature and well designed; it looks like nature, and simply feels good! A Masterpiece! Thanks for sharing! Peace & Prayers for you.

I would love to see a part 2 for this talking about design (conceptual or just naturally planted over time), maintenance, years in development and cost? I would think there is well over 100k in plant material and hardscape if not 2x that. This is just phenomenal and the level of effort, planning, and maintenance is just overwhelming to me. I love all the different uses of path material and water features- it just flows so well from space to space. Excellent camera work Jim!

Wow!! Just incredible. I'm 5 years in to building something that will not ever remotely resemble this. I can't imagine the effort, maintenance, cost, commitment to watering this takes. I have learned about laying plants from you Jim that helps to shade the root zones of other plants. The 100yr freeze here in North Texas in 2021 and now the extreme drought and relentless triple digit heat has taken a toll on my garden and effort that is frankly discouraging. I would like to know how long something like this developed and what is the maintenance and watering schedules like- I assume that is 20 plus years of love and commitment to evolve into such a fantastic space.

I picked up a lot of tips as well for my garden namely the foot paths, Also the lovely music background with no talking 🙉🙈 No EXPLAINING & zooming in Each plant each flower for a change....totally enjoyed it...This video earned my subscription... Very beautiful. What I took away from this is, don't underestimate the importance of ground cover. I think it makes a larger garden much more manageable. I just moved into 3/4 of an acre property and hope to retire in 5 years or so. It's mostly lawn and i want to incorporate beds. Was already feeling overwhelmed by the thought of remulching every spring. Not only the labor, but the cost on a retirement budget. If I start with the ground cover now, I should be well on my way to being prepared. One bed at a time.
