The most hospitable and welcoming African country I have ever visited. The surprising thing about it is, I went there during the most difficult and trying times of the country's economic history in 2007. I thought the police and the people were going to hassle me for bribes and nuisance solicitations but to my surprise, almost everyone I encountered, tried to make me feel welcome with no expectations. The experience will stay with me forever. May God bless Zimbabwe and all of her beautiful people!

Wow, I’m wezhira, wezhara from Zaka!My hood is literally in the shadows of that awe inspiring Ancient City resort, yet I’ve ne’er been to visit and enjoy the mystifying splendour & seductive ambience …I’m so ashamed of myself to the core 🥵! I am Zimbabwean and i first visited the Great Zimbabwe in 2008 and i spent a night at lodge at the ancient city... It was such an amazing experience
