THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STREAM I HAVE EVER FISHED...WITH BIG FISH!!

Japan is full of mountain streams and stream fishing is a very popular fishing type. This is often via fly fishing, lure fishing or bait fishing, targetting the countries various trout species.
Stream fishing is especially rewarding especially when you are dry fly fishing and today we are trout fishing in one of japans most beautiful trout streams. The fish were biting and the flies were hatching and this was an amazing couple of hours fly fishing.
We target a variety of trout species, including rainbow trout and brown trout, using a caddis dry fly hoping to tempt in some big trout. Safe to say I was truly surprised by the quality of trout that lived in this river!!

Great video as always. your attitude towards fishing makes this channel one of the best on here. Really nice to see that you like fishing in Japan so much. I fish there alot because my wife is from there but i never been to Hokkaido. What a shame for a flyfisherman but thats life. Must go soon tho you made sure of that.

Hahaha it’s a belter isn’t it! Haha I haven’t changed the line on that reel for borderline years (laziness in truth!) but most likely 😂 on small streams it doesn’t matter anyways! 😅
