It's really beautiful, that it's not called an exorcism, but releasing the ghosts, summarizing their story. This game shows so much appreciation towards those, who lived and understanding them, what mistakes they did, why they cried, etc., instead of demonizing every ghost as something, that should be destroyed from this world

As a war vet I cant wait to release the soldier trapped in Evergreen Lane. His story honestly got me a little emotional and when I went back to release the little girl and her father from the house(Also happy but bittersweet moments), when I went back into the garage and heard his audio of him crying, I couldnt help but say out loud " Soon brother, soon." Kudos to the developer who can make me think like that in a ghost investigation game of all things.

I think releasing the trapped spirits should permanently and drastically increase the activity of the resident demon, as I doubt it's happy losing one of the souls it's tormenting and feeding off of. That way, you have the risk of being drained if you release the non hostile ghosts before exorcising the darker entities within a locale.

I adore this game. I love me a good horror, but I usually can't play them. But this is one I feel like I could not only play, but thoroughly enjoy because of how much respect and love was put into it. The fact that we are CHEERING on Conrad, a talking protagonist, is unique and so interesting. There is a reason most protagonists are silent and yet they managed to pull it off with Conrad to make us WANT to play as him and see what he does. Such a well balanced game. I'm honestly impressed there are so FEW glitches considering how often the updates come out and how much depth is in this game already. Kudos on all fronts! (And, as always, it's good to be able to watch you play these games. I've been around since early phasmo without the green screen so it's so neat to see how much you and the genre has grown. Looking forward to more in the future!)

Ooh, the releasing ghost update! Man, this game is seriously have the most interesting mechanic than other ghost hunting games. The story and the realistic parts are definitely take the cake in my page. Can't wait till Conrad goes face to face with the Demon. And I hope there will be a more complex story that connect all the ghost (or the demon, I suppose) in New Eidolon. I love how the dev made the lore, it is very interesting indeed

the releasing of the ghost reminds me a lot of that game before your eyes(i think it was called that) where you played as the kid who died young. Its emotional and makes each ghost feel content and important. Easily the best approach for a ghost game in my opinion and although games like phasmophobia may be more fun or fleshed out, Conrads Paranormal PI is the most beautiful and well constructed concept

I really do think that in many years from now, this game will stand the test of time as the one that reached the full potential of what the genre can be, at least as far as storytelling goes. Phasmophobia will likely be remembered for its amazing gameplay on the other side of things. It's just really exciting to be here and see this game develop into something amazing. Thank you for sharing your experience with so many people, and for giving some attention to this game that's really neat.

FPS is primarily a lighting and shadow issue. Unless you can adjust lighting or shadows in the graphics settings, everything else barely does anything. The only other thing can be textures if and only if your graphics card doesn't have much ram. For modern cards and with a game that isn't stressing this, you won't see this as an issue. Your only other option is to lower the resolution until you have the FPS you want. That's all you can primarily do. Everything else is game optimization.

The models in this game remind me of Ghost Master for some reason. Insym if you get the chance try Ghost Master its a bit different than what you are used to so it will be a nice change.

I find it funny how we are applying a modern standard to a ghost that lived in the 1800s. Back then, "Oh you killed a slave, who cares?" Today, "You're an absolute monster." (which he is don't get me wrong). Conrad is trying to get these ghosts to move on, so appealing to his lack of success in not being a successful politician is the correct route in doing that. Furthermore, while you can admonish him for murder, it is ultimately a fruitless endeavor. He's dead. And even more so, he's a residual memory. Nothing more then a bad memory trapped in that lighthouse. You'd be doing nothing more than wasting your breath trying to get a memory to feel guilt

This game is really awesome but there's something missing in it for me. There is so much story here and how you can really focus on a ghost and learn so much about them. I have watched a ton of IRL ghost hunting videos. I know that in those videos they make so that you can't always clearing here what the spirit box is saying but I feel like Conrad's reaction to certain things are to emotionless. Comedy in some areas is fine but when you get very clear EVPs or use that one that is actually clear and shows you the word it would be great for Conrad's tone to change. Like with the soldier ghost or the little girl for example. There's some really sad stuff there and a voice line to reflect that would feel so much better.

Maybe more personable voice lines when referring to ghost evidence could help players with their immersion? For example it could be really cool to hear Conrad's distaste of people like the slave owner ghost after hearing him say a specific line, or showing empathy for the children who died too early when looking directly at them. If you're doing something like this for a job rather than a TV show, it's understandable to become nonchalant over time towards hearing or seeing certain things (which I guess could explain Conrad's deadpan/monotone way of speaking), but to hear Conrad say something along the lines of "that's great audio evidence," feels impersonable. We can tell he has a deep respect for the dead from the way he talks during the releasing of them, but aside from that and saying he wants to put people's minds at ease/support them, there's not really anything else that could make you understand exactly why Conrad wants to do his job. I think Conrad making comments about the ghosts and the locations, as well as nearby ghost events could really help with that. Maybe?
