Nidhiki and Krekka being absorbed by Makuta became way more disturbing after reading Time Trap, because it turned out they were conscious for entirely too long during and after that process.

Having their body parts added onto Makuta like Frankenstein's monster I always found to be a tad disturbing too

There are quite a lot of gruesome deaths in the Alternate Universe stories. Everybody talks about Empire Tuyet's encounter with a closing dimensional gate, but Kingdom Tanma's and Empire Takua's demise were quite brutal too.

I remember the Tuyet one and considered including it here, but wanted to focus on characters in the main storyline to start with. There's definitely room for a part 2 to this video though, where I can include alternate universe deaths.

I'm quite surprised that nobody mentioned the Bohrok Kal yet.

Technically their Krana are still alive. It was only their shells that got destroyed.

@@jacobcoleman8250 True, although not all of them as far as I'm aware. Greg stated that the Kal possess some minor form of consciousnes/memory backup of their own, as they seem to remember previous events even after changing their Krana. I would say that the Bohrok Kal certainly died at least in some capacity - including Lehvak Kal which was destroyed during the GSR battle on Bara Magna.

The Toa Cordak's deaths was pretty harsh and brutal, getting slaughtered by a horde of Zyglak.

Id go with toa tuyet from that alternate universe that got cut in half by that portal is a lot more brutal

I am surprised to not see the death of the Dark Mirror-universe's Toa Tuyet, which is arguably one of the most brutal deaths in the Bionicle story. Is it because this video focuses primarily on the main Matoran universe?

Yes I was only looking at deaths in the main storyline for this. I may make a Part 2 in the future though which includes deaths in alternate timelines.

@@nathan8518 No worries, it can be difficult to keep up with who killed who sometimes. I had another commenter who thought Hydraxon killed Nocturn, but really they only had a fight. Icarax was devolved back to a biomechanical state by the powers of the Ignika, which is likely what you're thinking of.

Is there anyone here that thinks Botar, Carapar and the rest of the Brotherhood of Makuta should have lived longer?

I would have preferred it if Botar wasn't just replaced by a pretty much identical character, then his death at the hands of Icarax would have prevented criminals being transported to the Pit and thus more impactful. It would also make the threat posed by the Makuta feel more real imo. As for the Brotherhood, I think I would have liked to see at least Krika survive. He seemed pretty smart and not completely irredeemably evil.
