Right? The whole scenario is wild to me. Come to think of it, I’ve heard more real stories about people who get hate for being child-free by choice, that’d be far more realistic than a nurse getting hate for being an adoptive mom. Some families literally go off on people who are like “yeah, I’m not gonna have kids, that’s just not for me.” But for a person who wants a kid and can’t have one to adopt? That’s like... the logical next step. 😂

I can understand if she was a teen when she was conceived and she didn't want to raise her as a teen but, there are people who done that anyways. I just feel like the mom was dumb to just flat out admit that she was risking her career if she kept her child. No real reason other than her career was on the line but, in hindsight reality, people do both a kid and a career or at least asked for help but, nah. She completely didn't care where her kid would go, where it would end up until, the kid was probably a teen to early adult. Which seems sus. to me that she completed didn't care about her kid or anything until, the mom that adopted her child raised her from most of her childhood so she wouldn't have to be there at all until she was either close to leaving high school to maybe college age. I mean I don't know man that seems pretty fishy to me on how ahe went about it, especially when her kid was under the impression that she was battling stuff but, nope l, it was either her career or her so she yeeted her kid until she was old enough to try to be there when it's too late technology.

I'm assuming Rose was a teenager/barely an adult in the story? And if that' the case....I can imagine it, honestly. There's this whole mystery of your life suddenly thrust upon you, it's confusing, especially if your family hasn't told you about this aspect. It's not a smart decision, that's for sure, but I can imagine being very upset and wanting to know more, and making some very bad decisions because of that.

She probably developed her biological mother's gene's when she barely was in the room for a few minutes. Most likely immediately losing them when her biological mother told her " yo my guy if I didn't abandon your butt I would of lost my career " but, I mean hey, apparently Rose can drop gene's and gain them in just a few moments.

I was adopted, so I advocate heavily for it, but at the same time, I disagree with not telling your kid. I was in an open adoption so I knew my biological parents growing up. Lying about it will end up with the kid questioning their reality, but if you straight up tell them “I adopted you because I felt like I could give you a better life than your parents could, and when I adopted you I became your parent”
@StarBoundAngel4 жыл бұрын
Both my sisters are adopted and because they were originally my cousins it also was open. But even knowing who their mothers are it’s difficult for them sometimes, which is why I agree, it’s something that the child should know. The oldest of my sisters was three when she was adopted and she understood what was happening and even signed the adoption papers too (not with an actual signature obviously) so I think talking about it when they’re young and making it normal for them is best.
@gianna5262 жыл бұрын
I might want to adopt in the future, and I always was certain I would let the kid know that they were adopted as soon as possible. I know this was about a year ago, but do you think telling the kid in a serious sit down and talking way or casually bringing it up as they grow up is better?

Holy shit seriously. The judgement in this video was disgusting! It’s so much worse to FORCE a woman to take care of (or even birth) a child she doesn’t want, for both the woman and especially the child! I can’t even imagine the damage that would be done to a child growing up with a mother who clearly doesn’t want them and unfortunately it happens all the time. We need more access to abortion rights, more reproductive options, and way less judgement on people who choose to be child free. Not everyone wants to be or SHOULD be a parent. This video isn’t helping anyone when it comes to those issues. So gross.

I always see people freak out when they find out they are adopted or one of their parents is not their biological parent meanwhile when I found out my father didn't want me and I'm actually living with my step father: Huh...cool I guess

Oh my god this story made me so mad because no one acts like a real person would omg Everyone in her life was so shitty about her wanting to adopt a child omfg How did the birth mom even find the daughter she gave up all those years later? Why would the daughter get so mad about being adopted and just abandon her loving mother for a stranger?? She went back after but omfg that was infuriating

The bio-mom found her through the adopted mom's hospital she was/is working at somehow, also I think the daughter felt like the adopted mom lied about her existence so she probably felt like there was more lies than just that. Then when her real mom dropped a bomb on her that her career was more important than her, I guess made her believe that the mother who adopted her only lied about where she came from which was better than her real mom basically not wanting to do anything with her until she was probably a late teen to early adult which still is kind of fucked up.

Honestly, if I found out my mom wasn’t my Biological mom, I don’t think it would really phase me. I’ve never had any attachment to the idea of a biologically related family. I’ve always been totally for adoption and really into found families more than biological families. Put simply, I simply don’t care whether my mom shares my blood and(knowing myself) I doubt I would have any interest in trying to find my Bio mom.
