(2023) I had never seen an episode this far back. The quality of the videos has improved so much (since then) but Dan, the barber was (still) the master of the haircut, even presented with a curly ginger hair challenge. Great job!!!

Dan Gregory is the best barber on KZbin and the one I’ve learnt most from. I appreciate how he explains his thought process and to see how methodical he is. To be honest I’ve seen how much his haircuts are and they’re expensive, but you can clearly see they are worth every penny. I’d love to have my haircut by him, it’s more of a TED Talk than a barber tutorial.

Dan is actually an Artiste, he sees things develop as he works, in the same way that Francis Bacon would see a painting develop as he worked the paint on the canvas, Dan comes up with creative ideas as he works his hands through the hair and develops the final cut.

This guy Dan Gregory? He has got to be one of the greatest barbers in the world. Or at least what I've seen. Anybody can flick a set of clippers and put a decent fade in, but this guy takes it to another level. His shear work is second to none. He's the total package. Make sure you tell him personally that Brandon Sexton from Louisville Kentucky USA said that, he's not just the greatest barber I've ever seen, there's an elegant vibe watching him cut hair. It's graceful and you can tell that he lives and breathes this profession. He's a true inspiration to an up and coming barber like me. Thank you regal gentlemen for showcasing his talent for the world to see. I would literally go through the long flight to London just to have my haircut by him

It's something I'm trying to master and it seems that he's an expert on the subject. He truly is a top shelf barber. He's a joy to watch. I find myself nowadays only watching regal gentlemen channel and Dan's cuts. Nothing against anyone else. I've just never seen a blend or a fade or shear work like his before. Even if he compresses the fade you can still clearly see every transition and that's hard to accomplish. Thank you guys for your contribution to the barber community. Try using a zig zag horseshoe parting and same approach to have a better blending. Then take a triangle front parting for short to long disconnection cut after blending the back n sides pivoting off the the triangular point using a point cut technique then blend ur disconnect piece working from short short to long. Personalize by connecting the zig zag parting w the brick laying or slicing out the weight to connect the undercut. Ull hv better texture n controlled curls maintaining length without the heaviness on top .
