Bro, you a little misunderstood this. His head snap and back break heal him instead of damaging him, that's why you see negative damage numbers. Backbone break is slower than head snap, but it can allow you to dodge any high projectile attacks, keep in mind these features 😉👌

Wasn't it Havik who encourage Shao Kahn to kill Onaga in the first place, as he felt with Shao Kahn as Emperor of Outworld instead of Onaga he was more likely to cause Chaos as Onaga was more obsessed with order.

No, that was The One Being that was in Shao's head, and still is during the events of the games. As The One Being is the consciousness of the universe that manipulates people into combining the realms and/or the Kamidogu - so that The One Being can wake up and everything but him and the Elder Gods stop existing (this is also why the Elder Gods don't want anyone gathering the Kamidogu or merging realms, because they're the ones who put The One Being to sleep in the first place. It's also why they really don't seem to give a shit about anything unless any of the major realms are involved). Onaga didn't want to expand Outworld into other realms, so The One Being whispered in God Protector Shao Kahn's ear and convinced him to usurp Onaga, just as The One Being did to Shinnok before him and would later do to both Onaga and Daegon later on. Havik opposes Onaga (and by association The One Being) because they cause order to be established/intend to re-establish, but he wasn't involved in the assassination.

According to the internet it seems that it replaces health instead of taking it away Head Snap: Havik snaps his own neck and puts it back to restore some health. Corpse Taunt: Havik bends his body down cracking his spine and resets himself to restore some health.

Awesome to see my favorite fighting game getting all this love... Time for some trivia on the character tackled in this video: Havik! I think everyone has said it by now, but the Head Snap and Corpse Taunt actually heals. Those negative numbers refer to that. They're also not random. You can only get a full heal once per round. If you do the same move over again, the amount of healing decreases until you start the next round. Bad move to use in a match actually, because the way they thought of balancing it is by making it very negative. It's so slow, your opponent can come from almost the full screen and hit you guaranteed. Also, you only heal if the animation ends. So, it's not that worth it. One of the challenges in the Konquest is using these special moves during a match and it's frustrating to land it, just like Ashrah's. Speaking of Ashrah, his grab also bounces the opponent, so that infinite tech I talked about works for him as well. Chaos doesn't mean that you're unaware of the chaotic situation. I like to say Havik is one of those characters that out of control while being in control. It don't mean he doesn't know what he's doing. In reality, the whole Chaosrrealm x Orderrealm thing is a whole discussion about anarchy versus authoritarism, and how extremism can be harmful in both ways. Too deep for an MK storyline I guess. Havik was supposed to be the new redesign for Noob Saibot. It's even mentioned on one of the kontent artworks, but the idea got scrapped. Thank God, because Midway created one hell of an iconic character. Too bad he's the only representative from Chaosrrealm. Even Orderrealm has more representation than the aforementioned. One of the most idolized things by the Chaosrrealm people is water, because of its chaotic nature. Also, Havik honors his word and teaches Shujinko by using a method of attacking to make him learn by defending himself in the heat of the battle, without a structured tutorial (even though it is one in-game). During the event in which everyone was involved when the Dragon King was confronted by everybody. Havik ordered the Black Dragon to await for the fight to be over and then commanded Kabal to lead his new recruits, Kobra and Kira to divert the weakened warriors, so he could take the Dragon King's heart for himself. The reason why his army was invincible was because of means of constant resuscitation. He would use it to resuscitate Shao Kahn, because he was killed by the Deadly Alliance, and that's because Onaga would not bring chaos as Kahn would. That's not canon, because it contrasts with the canonical ending, in which Shujinko is the one who shatters the Kamidogu's and obliterates Onaga with the one power he has received by the Dragon King himself, getting killed by dark Raiden after. He's low mid-tier. Good damage, but struggles against someone who knows the match up. And the most important of all: there's an Easter Egg in which if you throw him off the Sky Temple, he's the only one who says something... He says "This is gonna suck!" while falling down. The same thing happens in Armageddon, but with Taven.

I think Havik would have been better served if he was more chaotic. It's easy, just give him random fighting styles. You never know what way he'll play from match to match. Sure, it would be frustrating, but it would be true to the character, and it would be interesting to master that.

You should definitely play The Conquest mode of Mortal Kombat deception. Basically what it is is a giant tutorial for all the characters. Plus it has an excellent story to boot. I think you would really enjoy it because it does teach you combos for every single character that you interact with in conquest.

My main problem with Havok is that chaos and order are spooks. He keeps killing people which turns a sentient being into inert matter, increasing order. Even being consistently chaotic is a pattern and orderly. Why he would side with a despot is never explained.
