Unconditional listening makes that other person feel truly heard - that's what everyone craves and rarely gets. As a coach, I've truly come to appreciate this and wish it was something that was taught in schools so people get to learn this critical social skill early on. Love the way you break it down Sahil!

During watching this video I was not listening to you effectively , I was thinking what should I comment at the end of the video? I am also in the same trap of being interesting... But I have learnt today how to listen effectively. Thank you, Sahil.

recently, heard a description of the difference between presence and charisma. Presence is presence, while charisma is seeking influence over another. Offers a lot to think about, especially for the examination of intent and what's at the core of our intent.

Sahil, it's like you and me have though the same and struggled with the same issues. Were about the same age, wonder if a lot of this is the time in which we grew up. Anyways, random thought :P

You are putting out content too frequently imo… 2-3 videos/week is good enough… keep us waiting sometimes…

The way I understand Sahil's approach is that he wants to stay true to himself. He always preaches if you want to be great, do it everyday. By uploading everyday he not only levels up his speaking, but also creates a great connection with the audience, even more so because he is authentic. I think that is just beautiful.

Thanks for the feedback! I’m just having fun sharing these daily insights and then a longer form video 2x per week that goes deeper. I don’t do things the “right” way, I just do them my way.

I hear what you’re saying, but the truth is that his content always adds value and doesn’t repeat itself. What I don’t get is how Sahil has so much good content in him to keep it up this consistently. My big fear is him getting burnt out, but if he loves it I’d say more power to him. I too have gotten to the point where I can’t keep up consuming it in realtime so I’ll stock pile and then binge it. So what I’ve done is intentionally carved out time for his content because I value it so much. My kids refer to him as the cold water guy and they’ll ask “why does he do that” which has opened up some great conversations and now they too enjoy listening to him. The content is empowering and wholesome so I never have worries about it being on while they are there.
