It's great that you put this up, but as a review you should make sure to actually test all of the features of the monitor and not just the ones that you plan on using. I would've appreciated seeing more about the stand, the speakers, and the refresh rate.

I recently purchased. The stand is pretty sturdy and you can easily raise the monitor, tilt and rotate horizontally as well as horizontally. The speakers are quite poor.

I actually use this same monitor for gaming. However, I play, Cities Skylines, Sims 3, Age of Empires, and some, Fallout 4. So none of those fast, competitive type games. It’s a great monitor for the casual gamer.

@@battistimo It can handle gaming but it's not optimized for high frame rates that would help in FPS games. Don't expect 100+ frames. This monitor excels with a locked 60 FPS.

Hi. If u want more accurate colours go for the Benq. Was thinking to buy this monitor only for photoediting and more than 2 month of research and videos ended up with Benq sw270c. Even if u buy the Benq pd2700q get a calibrator for it. It makes a huge different. i1 display pro and ready to go🙂

@@laksanardie i bought the Benq Sw270c. Arrrived on friday. So far soo good. Beautiful screen. Make sure u connect with display port cable. Had problem with hdmi. Had to scale windows to 125%, othervise the icons are wery small and turn off the AMA function on the monitor, so no ghosting. Awesome colours, not calibrated yet as i dont have a spectometer. I am very happy with it. No dead pixel or stripes, nor bleeding. Hope it helps. I bough this cable: Cable Matters VESA Certified Braided DisplayPort 1.4 Cable Fully Support 8K HDR and DSC - 1.8m

@@najimahmed301 benq sw series are more accurate. They are specialised for photo editing and graphic design. The asus is 27 inch and bigger for sure but not as accurate. With benq u have the advantage to use hardware calibration (xrite i1display pro) the best one. Or see if u can afford the sw 2700pt. Older modell but still very good and relyable monitor. I highly recommend check out this guy. Very helpful and always answer the questions. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpe5YnilnKmYfsk or if u dont want to go with the bigger screen, the sw 240 is still the best bang for your money for an editing monito and the rest of the money u can spend it for a calibrator and u will have a very accurate monitor. Its part of the mount, but that should be the case with all Vesa Mounts for the most part. The screws however were pre-installed in the back of the monitor

Top and side bezels are nice and thin, bottom bezel is pretty large to fit the controls on the front face. Speakers are decent for a monitor, but haven’t used them to a great extent.

Blacks are really nice, they of course won’t be OLED nice, but for an IPS panel they are quite good

I would I’ve used it for some blender work and auto cad, and the colors are really great. There might be some more expensive options with higher brightness and HDR certification, but for the price this monitor is really nice

Just got this monitor today. Whites feel warmer than my dell ultrasharp and the default contrast setting is like 80 so i'm not really sure... everything feels a bit oversatured.

So i have been shopping for new computer gear for a friend of mine, and I finally got to the computer screens... and decided to compare the one i got for my computer years ago... ASUS VE258Q.. and Now Im looking at this. Ive played games on my computer, like dbd, the long dark, diablo, and going to venture into other ones... So based on what I am used to, this monitor seems to be a great bet, even though the response time is higher... but I bet the colors look amazing

I got mine 4 days ago from Amazon and the first time I turned it I saw 1 white pixel. But after 3 days I found 3 pixels. 1 white, 1 red and 1 light blue. I am contacting ASUS about it. Its an amazing monitor my only issue is the Stuck pixels. Does any 1 have the same issue as mine?

Hmm, is the viewing area flush with the bezel? They're some monitors that right before you get to the bezel it has a black area that the screen doesn't cover. In essence it seems like you're missing a few millimeters of screen size on sides/top. Not sure if this one suffers from that couldn't really tell but any help is appreciated!

Hi, I'm looking for a monitor to work on (heavy reading and design) but to game also (on a 50% proportion for each activity). I can't afford to have a double monitor setup and my computer specs are not the greatest so I don't mind the monitor not to be able to hit 144 Hz or more. Would you recommend this monitor to me or would you say it is not the ideal solution for me. Thanks a lot for your help.

Yes I would definitely recommend it for that use case, I've gamed on it a little bit in COD and Valorant and the colors look great and the refresh rate doesn't really limit the game. and at 27" you should be fine for multitasking with split screen

Standard is my preferred, and the srgb mode will be darker as it is preset to meet the exact criteria but rec 709 more can be selected with ability to change brightness etc, while staying in that calibrated mode

The DL-DVI-D port on the 1650 contains VGA so you can get a very cheap passive adapter with no loss.

Update: I ended up buying this monitor to double up as my console gaming monitor, and it's the best one I've ever played on specifically for an Xbox one S, it will lag behind when using the newer consoles like the series X and ps5, but if you're sticking with The S for a while, this is a super good monitor to pick up!

7 monts late but basically the cv is equiped with powered Type C so if you have a laptop (or other) that is powered via Type C (like a MacBook) you can have the screen powering your laptop and feed the display with the same cable

Between 95 and 75Hz there will be an extremely slight difference probably not super noticeable, but I haven’t used the Pixio so not sure on colors, etc.

The monitor produces 16.7 millions colors which is one way of describing a 24-bit monitor. It is capable of displaying each of the three colors used to produce all color on your monitor in 8-bits.
