Yes! I am constantly under spiritual attack in my thoughts. I will get a random thought that blasphemes God’s name and I immediately rebuke that evil spirit. I’ve even gotten attacked in church by horrible panic attacks.

Last year, I was at daily mass and I was spiritually assaulted. I felt as if I was drowning in a sea of negativity - hateful thoughts, feelings and images, lustful thoughts, feelings and images; suffocating with prideful thoughts and feelings, cringing within in fear and terror, panic stricken in my soul and unable to escape. And then, the question came to me - "But do you say 'yes' to any of this? Do you accept it?" And I realized and said within myself, "No. No, I don't say 'yes' to any of this." And then in an instant, the storm dropped and peace returned to my soul. Praise to you, Lord, Jesus Christ! When we're fighting the spiritual battle, we don't need to concern ourselves too much with whether it is "the world, the flesh, or the devil", our job will be the same regardless of the source of temptation. Our job is to avoid temptation and near occasions of sin (don't play with fire or you'll get burned!), and when temptations assails us, to resist them by "putting on the full armor of God" (Ephesians ch 6, vs 10 - 18)

From Father, I learned quite a lot about Spiritual Warfare which our local Priests were ignorant of. My marriage was almost destroyed by the hexes and charms of my late father in law, who wanted my wife to go back to him. He was against our marriage but gave in to my mother in law who approved of it. Years later I found out that he had been sexually abusing my wife since she was about 5, later in her late teens, I believed she was raped by her father who drugged her before doing that. The unfortunate thing was that she had no recollection of it until from her sharing I realised that the father had been abusing her sexually. He had hoped to continue having access to her sexually after her mother died but I have become a stumbling block sent by God. He even send me death curses which nearly killed me except from God's intervention.

In the book Gay Straight & the Reason Why by Simon Levay PhD, explanations regarding this aspect of humanity are clearly explained & is based on research & not ancient text which had no benefit of understanding humanity. I highly recommend it. Being gay is no more of a sin than having red hair. They are both based on genetics & clearly not a sin. There is nothing wrong with you. This is the true choice. Peace

The nuns taught us and equipped us with the faith at St Agnes church we got an hour of religion then we went out to recess the nuns came out carrying a small chair and their Bibles wearing their long habits they said we forgot to explain one of the scriptures to you so they read the scripture and then started to explain it deeply we didn't mind we were on fire for Christ so we drop the football basketball baseball whatever we were doing and we listened then everyday had a little bit later date they taught us that the clergy would fall away from God the nuns and Priests... they said it's going to be up to you to bring the church back they kept insisting it will not be the clergy to bring us back but the church the laity the regular people then one day they told us why the nun said that they received a prophecy about them Falling Away and they said only you will bring the faith back...

That is well and good, and we all need to do that, but just saying it sounds like you are Protestant trying to teach Catholics the fundamentals of Christianity. Catholics are born again with Confirmation, and otherwise.. Also, we go through an examination of conscience and must repent and confess. repenting, making reparations, asking for forgiveness is a BIG part of the faith. Of course we confess t directly to God inside and outside of the confessional. It's perplexing why you speak as if we don't. When we are in a confessional, the Jesus is speaking through the priest. it is speaking with Jesus. I do know Catholics are prohibited from joining Freemason. I did a Google search for the Freemason symbol and compared it to the “A” for Augustine. I don’t see it’s exactly the same. I asked another channel (not Catholic) why they were using actual trance induction techniques, in their studio discussions, including strobing lights, constant peripheral movement scrolling text. l knew at least one of their team had had a Hellywood film production background. I had a technical discussion on the thread with the channel, during which l talked about signal noise ratio, how engagement techniques have been refined over time, why not to to do what you criticise and their final disingenuous remark was you are not our target audience for our critiques of visual culture, which is gamers in there teens! Their target audience (when they actually watched or commented, were just outraged that their Marvel ous Hellywood icons were being criticised) So they were using the devil's techniques to destroy the Devi's works? 😂 Seems legit. They and another channel that toned down their Christian content when their audience shifted and they blew up and monetised, had in common that fake cheerfulness and high octane bonhomie that can put my teeth on edge. I learn so much down to earth common sense from this Holy Father, l think l better start buying his books and using them as work books.😉

In my old catholic church, the biggest threat was the monsignor. Two of my fellow altar boys were raped in the name of god.
