Once again I'm just depressed at the lack of curiosity. When I finally learned about the umbra and the penumbra it connected several different things for me. It explained why, for instance, studio photographers use light modifiers like umbrellas to turn a comparatively small source of light into a large light source. Yes they always said they did it to soften the shadows but I had to understand the difference between the two before I got it. When I finally did it was like a world opened up to me. I could see variations of this behavior all around me and all of a sudden the behavior of light made a little bit more sense. But instead here we have some flat earther trying to say that a model that is deliberately exaggerated to make it easier to understand uses satanic numbers and that every point on the surface of the sun emits light in one angle only that is designed to converge on the moon. It's like this tool has never seen a bare light bulb. It's like he expects a light bulb to only emit light in his direction, as if he honestly believes that if he walked around a room the light bulb would emit a spotlight aimed specifically at him. Because if he didn't believe this he would understand that every point of the surface of the light bulb emits light in a broad range of directions.

Mr T&S's greatest achievement, genuinely, was when he flew around America to different latitudes with a digital scale and a weight in order to prove that things do not weigh less at latitudes closer to the equator due to the centrifugal force of a spinning earth. He then proceeded to take measurements that closely matched the weights predicted at different latitudes if the earth is a sphere with dimensions and rotational speed science claims. I was impressed at how well he carried out the experiment and how he completely dismissed the results with a handwave similar to Jism's "interesting" lights on the beach experiment when he proved curvature. A bit before your time on flat earth, Dan, but he probably has the video on his channel somewhere.

“I’m not gonna label every one, you can figure it out.” He really overestimates his audience. Also himself since he missed a few numbers!

@11:30 dude says this is to scale, and then somehow decides that 90 = 70. No wonder he's a flat earther if he thinks 20 = 0.

Says "this is to scale" while simultaneously skipping 50 and 70 on his chart. This guy can't even count past 40 without losing track. Bro... pro tip... the distance between 40 and 30 isn't the same as the distance between 60 and 40... whether on graph paper or in outer space. And the fact that you think there is only one ray of sunshine coming from the sun is just marvelous.

I find it very funny how he continues to say “if you imagine “ with his diagram, but refuses to “imagine “ how an eclipse works on the very first diagram. As much as he seems to disagree with the first diagram; his argument supports it! 😂😂😂

I'm so tempted to sign him up for remedial science classes, but I shudder at the thought of having to teach that kind of "genius", so I probably can't do that to a colleague with a clear conscious 😅

I honestly do feel sorry for these people, they are obviously missing some sort of purpose in their life and are pursuing this crazy idea to fill their emptiness
