Loving the vibe the video had. I guess it has to be because of your daughter's presence. Positive energy! BTW I know that in America that a lot of people style their kids in clothes that they'd project on themselves - Do the Japanese have a philosophy for dressing their children, or do they encourage them to find their own style?

Awww your daughter is beautiful🥰 I agree, Shinjuku is a chaotic place to shop😂but Shinjuku, in an underground sub culture history sense, is one of the most interesting and intriguing place in Tokyo in my mind😊 Especially love studying about Shinjuku culture in the 70s❤

It really is! I’m actually trying to get even more familiar with it now that I have some time. Should be fun.

I’m so glad you live there and say it’s confusing. While staying in the area, every time I returned to the station, I would get lost. Finally after three days, I felt as if I understood it, sort of. But it was part of the adventure.

I just feel the shops/places are more scattered in shinjuku so its quite tiring to go from one to another 🤣 love the vid format man! Your daughter will steal the channel from you 😄

As a Canadian style enthusiast I love beating the black Timbs, british racing green Docs, winter spec Chuck Taylors, and the Frye chelseas when I want some elegance in the winter.

Here's a content idea, you said the station have many exits, do Shinjuku episodes according to the exits, e.g. Shinjuku : West - only things on that side, etc.

While working in Tokyo in 2012 at local coworker had me to his apt for dinner one Saturday night. He offered to ride me back so I wouldn't get lost changing trains at Shinjuku. I begged off because I wanted to check out the scene at Shinjuku on my way back to whatever Prince hotel I was at. My night getting lost in that station and how I made it back to the hotel is one of my favorite stories now. Holy sh*t what a city. Salute Tokyo! Love you bae!

You ever try Pizza Slice 2 in Aoyama? My personal fav every time I visit Tokyo, tastes better than 99% of the stuff in SoCal.

😂 Been to Shinjuku station and didn’t find it that confusing. Now Gare Du Nord that was intense and confusing!

And yet japanese gorpcore in the 70's were mainly American brand clothes that people ordered thru mail order using magazines.
