Calvin Iba's multiple world champion - and widely regarded greatest pound for pound robot on the planet - Lynx exits the August competition in controversy.
Under NHRL rules each competitor gets one 'unstick' where the house bot will attempt to free the robot. Once this 'unstick' has taken place, if the robot get stuck and cannot move for ten seconds they are counted out and it is classed as a knockout.
All parts of the cage arena are classified as part of the match so if they become hazards, including lights, they are something competitors have to take into account. As Lynx was high centred and not moving after its one free unstick it didn't move for over ten seconds and was counted out, knocked out of the match and out of the competition.
Lynx v Cat-Tastrophe 2 from August 2023 event.
