Var hasn’t ruined anything there’s no problem with the technology and what it should be used for they just aren’t using it correctly like for offsides if they can’t watch a replay in regular time and it’s not clear that he is offsides or not then it should not be offsides they should not be looking to see if he is 1mm offsides like wtf is this shit and showing fouls zoomed in and in slo mo should not be just shows how wrongly they are looking at things a lot of the time and are the most inconsistent refereeing decisions I’ve seen in the prem for a few years now especially for when I watch other games and see how they are calling things and then watch the ref rob man united on so many occasions it’s not even funny like I can’t imagine the new players go to United and after a few months they don’t even know how they should defend or play because the refs have made it clear that Man U can barely touch players and do things that they get punished for so easily but others teams can do that against them and more but man united players they can be getting wrestled down to the ground without player even going for the ball or taken out by a players slide tackle without even getting the ball in pen area and outside the box and they won’t get the calls in their favor started seeing the is happen a lot since 2021-22 maybe even the season before that can’t remember at this point just remember seeing such obvious fouls and still not getting the free kicks and pens and yellows cards from a lot of those a just new that something happened behind the scenes and it’s been proven time and time against these last 3 or 4 years

I started watching soccer on TV in 1974. I was so keen that I was watching 2 games on 2 TVs at the same time. I used to get up in the wee hours of the morning to watch the games. Over the last few years, I've lost so much interest (mainly because of "poor" refereeing coupled with deception by players (diving, simulation), etc). VAR was supposed to improve matters but the rot continues. Now, I'm down to watching "high"lights of a few games. Besides, I watch grainy videos of the past when true greats like Pele, Garrincha, Cruff, Eusebio, etc never depended on cheating.

Statistical impossibilities let's look at the Forest screw jobs, Neco Pen, Boly red, Brighton no red, Toney ball move, Liverpool restart, Awonyi GK foul, Ashley Young hat trick, you have to call it for what it is, VAR is a device to keep title race relegation race close, doesn't favour one club or another, but delivers a desired outcome to keep Prem entertaining and increase its value.
